  1. Last updated: 17 January 2020 Dear fellow riders, as some of you may already know, I'm the guy responsible for EUC World application and online service Whole story began at the beginning of 2019 when I forked WheelLog sources and decided to add some features I missed. One of such features was possibility to track my rides in similar way Strava, Endomondo or Wikiloc works, but with complete wheel telemetry. You know, I wanted to cross my country from northern to southern border, allow my friends to watch me live on the map and show the rest of world that EUCs are not toys Of course even vastly improved WheelLog was not enough, as I needed some online service to save and share my tours with others. I created it and named "World of electric unicycles" and in fact it soon became a real world of electric unicycles - just take a look at the main map I have chosen WheelLog sources as a foundation and initially I just wanted to add features that were useful during my riding. In particular voice announcements and alarms. Really, you should try speed alerts with Bluetooth earphones or helmet comm set! Wind noise will no longer be an issue to hear that you exceeded your preset speed, EUC is near to overheating or just overloaded and faceplant may be iminent. If you love long rides, you'll benefit from periodical speech reports about battery state, mainboard temperature, distance already travelled, time of your ride, average speed etc. I also added other languages thanks to @koto, @ArqFG, @andress, @George Iliev, @Lefteris, @fabio70mi, @travsformation, @Hansolo, @Tazarinho, @DjPanJan and other contributors. Now EUC World has been almost completely rewritten, becoming a completely independent application. Currently EUC World supports following languages: English Catalan Czech French Polish Russian Spanish Bulgarian, Brazilian Portugese, Dutch, Greek, Italian are partially supported (would you like to make updates?) Supported wheels: Gotway (all current models) Inmotion (all current models) King Song (all current models) Ninebot One E+, One S2, Z6, Z8 and Z10 Rockwheel GT16 Solowheel Glide 2 and Glide 3 Supported watches: Android Wear 1.4 and later Wear OS Pebble (using WheelLog watch app) SELECTED EUC WORLD APPLICATION FEATURES NEW IN 1.0.9 Full Gotway support, including calibration, side LED control and tiltback setting up to 75 km/h (may be limited by the wheel). NEW IN 1.0.9 Enforce regulatory compliance action, allowing for simple and quick limiting wheel speed to 20 km/h to be compliant with local regulations. This action, as with other custom actions, can be assiged to Flic button, smartwatch button/screen tap or phone screen tap (works with King Song, Gotway and Inmotion wheels). NEW IN 1.0.9 New custom actions, allowing for easy start/stop/pause/resume tour tracking, start/stop CSV logging, lock/unlock wheel, turn off wheel etc. NEW IN 1.0.9 Speed prealarm, allowing to change low priority speed alarm to prealarm. In this mode there is only repeating beep, there is no "Slow down!" voice warning and when listening to the music, volume is not lowered. NEW IN 1.0.9 Persistent headlamp mode, allowing to remember headlamp mode and restore it on subsequent application start (works with King Song and Gotway wheels). Full King Song support, including speed unlocking, calibration and firmware update. Flic 2 button support - Flic app is no longer needed. Flic 2 has better range, battery longevity and is more reliable that older Flic. CSV logs synchronization with euc.world account, allowing you to safely backup your logs on euc.world server. It also allows you to create tours offline and use data analysis tools. Heart rate monitoring, allowing you to display/hear your current heart rate and also include it during tour tracking or CSV logging. Tour tracking with complete telemetry Speech alarms and prompts - now you can pair your built-in BT speakers, earphones or helmet comm set with your phone and get instant voice alerts, prompts and reports. Wind noise will no longer be a problem and you won't any beep when going over predefined speed. Beeps and voice messages will let you know that you're approaching your wheel limits. User friendly interface - completely reworked and much more friendly user interface, giving more valuable invormations and with better contrast to improve visibility and save your phone battery. Flic button to easy activation of custom actions - now you can pair a small, wireless button with your phone and use it to activate horn, toggle lights in your EUC or get voice message with current riding parameters. You can get your Flic button here. Both Flic and Flic 2 are supported. Motherboard/MOSFET/motor load monitoring - load gauge lets you instantly check how much current is drawn from or put into the battery. If you're agressive rider this feature will let you know when you're near or over predefined load limits of your wheel. Improved overcurrent alarms - now you can have two independent alarms. One for peak value that will let you detect short, large current spikes (eg. during rapid acceleration). Another alarm is for "filtered", sustained current value. This way you can avoid situations when elevated current values may cause mainboard or wiring failure. Overvoltage/overcharge alarm - we all know that during braking or riding downhill our wheels enter regeneration mode. In some cases this may lead to battery overcharging resulting in cutout or battery failure if occurs too often and unnoticed. Now you can get alarm when your battery voltage approaches goes beyond safe limit. Extensive statistics - detailed ride statistics will let you know more about how your wheel rides, how your riding style affects energy efficiency, what power is needed etc. Wear OS (Android Wear) watch support - now you can get almost the same information just on your wrist with Wear OS watch companion app. You can also activate custom actions from your watch, just like when tapping your phone main screen or pressing Flic button. You can also start, pause, resume or finish tour tracking. Watch will also vibrate when any of the alarms is active. Custom horn sounds - you can select any sound from your phone to be used as a horn sound. More, you can have different sounds for Wear OS watch, Pebble watch (yes, they can work in paralell!), main screen tap and Flic button. Picture-in-picture and split-screen support - with Android 8 and newer you can benefit from "piecture-in-picture" and "split-screen" mode. Even if EUC World is in background and you have to switch to desktop or another application, small gauge with most important informations will still be displayed in small window. In split-screen you can display two apps simultaneously. WORLD OF ELECTRIC UNICYCLES - TRACK, ANALYZE AND SHARE YOUR RIDES EUC World allows you to record your rides including your wheel telemetry data. By default, saved routes are not visible to others. You can share them with others (friends, family etc.) by sending them a link. You can also make some routes available to everyone, so they will be visible on the main page and from your signature image. You tour can be live during your epic rides! Euc.world is a great and free alternative to Endomondo or Strava, as it allows you to document your rides along with detailed wheel telemetry (wheel speed, battery charge, voltage, current, power etc.). You don't need to be connected with your wheel to record your rides. Even if your wheel is not supported by EUC World yet, app may still act as a normal GPS tracker. In this case wheel data won't be recorded along your track - that's the only limitation. You can also add photos to your ride. Euc.world online service will be significantly extended withing next weeks. Users will be able to store their CSV logs under their account and will be able to download them or view with my http://wheellogviewer.net/ tool that will be improved and integrated with euc.world. Also some extended statistics will be available for users. HOW TO START USING EUC WORLD APPLICATION AND ONLINE SERVICE? Get your application from Google Play or visit https://euc.world/getapplication Sing up with https://euc.world to create free account. Sign up in EUC World app with credentials used to sign up in previous step. Setup your EUC World according to your preferences. Start riding and enjoy you new app! Last, but not least - don't forget to give me some feedback so I can push this project in right direction. I'd kindly ask you for one thing... If you are going on an interesting route, think about making it visible to everyone. The idea that guided me when I created euc.world online service was to show other people interesting places where you can get on an electric unicycle. So if it doesn't affect your privacy, think about recording some routes in public mode. Add interesting photos, let others see the beauty of the places where you ride on one wheel. This is one of ways we can popularize EUCs. We can show that EUC riders are everywhere! And remember - you can also change visibility. Just log to your account, enter the tour you would like to edit and from "Tour" menu select desired visibility. This way you can make the tour hidden or reverse - one of your beatutiful private tours make visible to everyone!
  2. The Insta360 One R and One X are some of the best cameras to record videos of our EUC adventures, however capturing good audio and clear voice without adding an expensive and complex setup seems difficult. I'm about to get my hands on a One R and hope to build a better solution. The idea is to start/stop recording audio with your phone in sync with the camera activity. Potential input signals: built-in mobile phone mics 4-pole JACK analog external mic USB microphone (could be stereo, maybe multi-channel) Bluetooth headset (for processed voice only) Wireless microphone, connected to the mobile phone instead of the camera Benefits compared to wireless audio transmitter/receiver on the Insta360 One R: No added weight on the camera No need for the extra ONE R Mounting Bracket with Cold Shoe Top Mount ($30) No need for the extra USB-C Mic adapter ($10) Camera remains waterproof! No need for an extra wireless microphone system Downsides compared to wireless audio transmitter/receiver on the Insta360 One R: Requires replacing the audio when editing Requires doing some (minimal, likely automated by the editing software) audio sync Benefits compared to manual external recording with the Insta360 One X: Simplified audio sync when editing Avoids content loss from operation error Carefree feeling from pressing a single button to record 😄 I'm a senior Android developer and if confirmed feasible I should be able to prototype this app pretty quick on this platform but I wonder how many of you would need an iOS version instead? Note that it might be more convenient to run the app and plug the mic to an old spare or $99 Android phone for cable management purposes. It's not uncommon to use the single (USB-C) port of a phone to charge it while recording a ride on EUC World for instance, then the port is unavailable to plug the mic adapter. I know I now need and will use this app instead of buying $200 of extra gear, so I'll try to build it. Anyone else is interested? 👋 Would you need it for iOS or Android only is fine?
  3. Since the current version of EUC world is closed source this is pretty much a proof of concept but if people are interested I can post the APK. I hope this feature can be added to the current version of EUC World. Here is the code. I also added a decimal point to the speedometer which I find is helpful especially when displaying MPH.
  4. Hi, i'd like to ask the community for some help. Now that our wheels cost more money and are widely known to (some) people, are prone to stealing. We had a case of a friend here in Greece that someone stole his KS16S when he was buying some coffee. Me personally, i rock a Nikola Plus 100V with the 21700 cells, that from what i've seen so far from other wheels and my one, no-one uses the on-board USB charging port, so i thought why not REVERSING IT, so it can be used from inside the wheel for a specific purpose or even diy stuff. For example see this : i've got so much empty space on the upper part of the wheel, a compartment that in other variants of the Nikola (or plus) is filled with extra battery pack or even the actual board (see Nikola 84V) So, i'm thinking if i can have the 5V port inside the wheel i can install one of the following things : a gps tracker a spare android phone that is used as a gps tracker more speakers ( ) but last, the best thing that is missing from this wheel extra cooling fans cause as @Marty Backe mentioned in his video "First impressions" at 13:40 talks about the fan that is there just to circulate the air, cause this wheel doesn't have proper ventilation. So....... What are your opinions and/or suggestions about the reversal of the USB port, the possibilities are "∞" i also have a raspberry pi3 with a x4 breadboard, i could do so many things inside the wheel, but first things first i could REALLY install extra fans and circulate the air properly!!! Does anyone know how to reverse the usb port and make it internal ? maybe friends that know how things work, @esaj or @enaon ?
  5. Hi, It started somewhere here, it was just improvement to make WheelLog working with Inmotion. But then I was asked about some improvements for KingSong and Gotway as well. So I think it is time to move it here. Improvements regarding the version from the market (not all, I don't remember all, but you can read previous topic about changes if interested): - Inmotion support, including wheel setting control (tested, work fine with V8, work not bad with others), extended logs - KingSong: negative current, correct start with FW 1.25, wheel setting control (untested) - Gotway: some minor fixes, wheel setting control (partially tested) - Top speed reset from menu - User trip counter (can be reset from menu, not affected to wheel or app shutdown) Known issues: - Xiaomi devices may often lose connection with Inmotion (problem in Xiaomi Bluetooth implementation) Latest version in PlayMarket
  6. Hi! I'm almost ready to publish new version of EUC World application (previously known as euc.world WheelLog). This new version will bring many new and exciting features, it will also be full of improvements over legacy or euc.world WheelLog app. I have put really great effort into making next release a huge step forward in terms of features, quality and overall user experience. However, there is one area I wasn't able to improve: translation to other languages. Currently EUC World is available in English, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, German, Greek, Spanish, French, Italian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian. Not all translations are up-to-date however; Bulgarian, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and Russian needs to be updated. Also it would be great to add another language versions to EUC World application. If you would like to help me improve or add missing translations, please download ZIP archive containing Excel spreadsheet containing language definitions for EUC World application. Helpful instructions are included in ZIP file (readme.txt). To be able to include translation in upcoming release I need to get translation back until Monday evening, 18/11/2019.
  7. It's been a challenge deciphering the Kingsong app on the IOS for my 16X. Been considering getting an Android for the supposedly better app. Has anyone used both, any thoughts?
  8. Hello, I just bought a V8 and installed the Android app (v 7.3.3). I cannot figure out how to change the LED lighting effects. There is an "Apply" button in the upper right corner when I choose the active effect (which does nothing). When I choose a different effect there is a "Trans" button which does not do anything at all. Can somebody help me with this issue? Thanks a lot!
  9. There is a new app on mimod.ru, 'NINEbattery v1.6' that you can freely download for Android: https://mimod.ru/en_US/ninebattery/ This a MUST-HAVE for every MiniPro (or ninebot scooter) owner, because it shows the status of EVERY CELL in the battery pack (actually, in the miniPRO the cells are two paralled LG cells, the combined voltage is shown). No longer do you have to wait for a battery pack to fail, you will be able to see weak cells before they get bad enough to make your miniPRO fail (and throw you). I tried it on both my N3M320 and N3M260 models, screenshots below. I found some difficulty connecting with Bluetooth, but bringing up the Segway app talking to the miniPRO, then killing it and bringing up NINEbattery, seemed the most reliable way to get a Bluetooth connection. Internet connectivity is not required. Many thanks to Alexei and Alexander for this wonderful addition to my toolbox!
  10. I hope to encourage @Bobwheel and Inmotion/Solowheel to share more info on the new V10 gen. app for android. Of course, some development updates/ info and expected release date would be nice to know too. As for features, can someone confirm if this app will support any tope of smart watch/wear type to show speed and maybe even a horn/bell option. The last part is high on my interest list due to road legality/ traffic laws.
  11. Guys, is there a way to add "Total Wh drained from the battery" with an option to reset it after a recharge? What do you think? This way we can see actually how many Wh juice is giving our battery.
  12. I know I'm still relatively new here, in terms of account age, but I figured that I'd post something that's hopefully useful for the community. Due to the frustrations I've had with the constant crashes in the latest (7.x.x) releases of the iOS fork of the InMotion app, I've spent the past few hours downloading the majority of releases from the AppStore, archiving them. I mainly stick with 6.7.2, as it's the last version that doesn't seem to crash on my device. The only downside is that it doesn't have the code to fully support my V10F... But that's okay. I'm still working on downloading the last few yet, but I have all of the available releases from 7.1.2 to 6.0 uploaded, currently. I should have some of the earlier revisions uploaded soon, as well. Hopefully this will be found as useful, as I'm sure everyone had a preferred, or favorite release that they used, or are currently using with their wheel(s). Also, Merry Christmas, everyone! And a Happy New Year. The app releases are currently stored on my mega account, here: https://mega.nz/#F!5BZXlQwD!QpkEVT9Tca7Z_9dvlJP2_A
  13. Anyone noticed android ks app is saying that there is a new version of app ? But when trying to download it's saying 404 error...
  14. Hi...just wondered if anybody here was having problems with the App on their phone and the 'bluetooth' connection to their EUC. Mine is extremely tempremental...It will connect for a second or two then lose it asking me to 'search again'...it takes ages to get a solid connection...to play music it seems more stable BUT if I want to change the lighting sequence and lighting colours it's impossible...the 'sequence' file will come up and a bar to show it being downloaded to the EUC but it has never gone beyond 0% before it says 'unable to transfer...please try again'(words to that effect). I've spent the best part of 1/2 day now with nil success...Has anybody else had this problem??....My phone is an Samsung Galaxy A3...Android......thankyou!..
  15. Any one noticed new version of KS app for Android ? I've just installed it, and it says v1.52. I can't see any difference... If any of you see something new, please let me know. @US69 can you ask KS for changelog ? Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi everyone, I was wondering if you guys know of any Android app that would let me track my rides storing GPS data that can be reviewed later on a map showing, not only max/avg speed, but speed at different points during the ride. For an example of what I mean, please take a look at the attached photo or this photo album containing screenshots of another app called Diablo Superbike. This app was designed for motorcycle riders and it tracks speed and lean-angle, and as you can see, there's a slider that you can drag to see your position at that time in the map as well as your speed and angle. Is there something similar but meant for EUC riders? I'm okay with an app that doesn't really connect to the EUC if it's able to record the path and speed (maybe even elevation?) during the ride, but it'd be great if it actually can connect to it and extract information like battery, temperature, pitch, roll, etc. during the trip. I've looked at WheelLog but it won't connect to to my InMotion V8. I also tried @palachzzz fork and while it connects, all readings are null (0 or empty). Either way, i don't think this app records what i want. I've also tried the Wheelinfo84v app, and while it also connects, it won't really display any info about my V8. It also doesn't seem to do what i want. I've tried looking at iOS apps like DarknessBot or Gyrometrics but I don't own an Apple device but from their screenshots, it seems to fall short of what I want. Any recommendations on alternatives? PS. @palachzzz any suggestions on getting your fork to work? Does your fork maintain compatibility with the other wheels? I could see myself taking your code as starting point to start my own app to do what I want if it will help other EUC owners than just V8'ers like me.
  17. Hi, I got an MCM3 and tried to connect it with my Android phone. I can see the EUC in discovered Bluetooth devices, however when clicking on it a message pops up that the device refused the connection. No window to enter a code comes up. Do you have a solution? Is the Bluetooth corrupt? AmI doing something wrong? Thank you very much!
  18. I hope this little tid-bit of information will save a few hours of grief for anyone who owns or plans to own a OnePlus Android phone and wants to use Wheellog, the official InMotion app, or probably any other high power drain app on it. OnePlus added a background monitoring process to their OxygenOS (enhanced Android build) they install on their phones. This process monitors for apps that are consuming a large amount of power in the background (background defined as the app is started but is not the current in use app or your phone's screen is off) and unceremoniously kills them without warning, clean shutdown, or notification. This is a cool concept but sometimes (like with Wheellog) you want these apps to run. Since I just upgraded from my 5 year old Xperia Z Ultra to a OnePlus 5T I had been unable to maintain Wheellog or the InMotion app for more than a few minutes after the screen went off or the app was pushed to the background and this background process was the cause. I'd start riding. The wheel would beep at loss of BT connection. My pebble would lose its data feed. I'd stop and look at my phone and the app would be nowhere to be seen. No error message. Starting the app again was like a fresh load with no metrics from the ride persisting. After hours of research and dicking about with settings that I though might be conflicting with the app I found the solution to prevent this from happening. You need to display the recent app screen (usually the right hand button on the bottom nav bar), find Wheellog (or the app in question) and tap the open padlock icon in the top right corner of the app card. (padlock closes). Officially this lock is meant to prevent the app card form being cleared when you use the "clear all" button in the recent app screen but it also has an undocumented feature of whitelisting the app from the background app monitoring process. Having locked the app today for the first time I completed a ride without losing connection to the wheel. Note that you can still close the app by double tapping the back button as usual. I hope this helps anyone who picks up this awesomely spec'ed reasonably priced flagship phone and wants to use it with their wheel.
  19. The following EUC Mobile App comparison was commissioned by eWheels.com in an attempt to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the major EUC mobile apps available today. [edit: this comparison was mostly focusing on Main Page Dashboard layout/ergonomic strengths and weaknesses, hopefully pointing out where key important metrics and buttons were missing and relegated unnecessarily to secondary screens / menus]
  20. Hello, I have a GotWay Msuper V2 and an Android phone. I found the GotWay app on the Play Store but in the description it only mentions the Msuper V3 and not the V2. Will the app still work with the V2 (which I have) or do I need to get another app? I putted a screenshot of the app description.
  21. Fastwheel finaly released the Android App for the Fastwheel EVA. It looks much cooler than the Iphone/Ipad App and has more features. Here are some screenshots from the Android App. You can download the Android app from the Fastwheel site, see: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1qcWbG So far I can succesfully connect with bluetooth and the app can read out the data from my Fastwheel. The front Light can be controlled by the app. I did not needed a firmware update as I already have the latest firmware. When I have some more info I will let you know how the app behaves during a test drive.
  22. Hi, New Gotway user here. My phone is Nexus 6p. The system settings sees the wheel but refuses to pair. I heard that's normal. I have tried two apps: one is GotWay.apk from kebye.com. This one shows a splash screen, then another screen saying 2.0, New something, Blabla, and gets permanently stuck there. Another one is called Gotway_4.0_Dual_English_Chinese, which I downloaded from this forum. It requires manual pairing and thus seems to be incompatible with MCM4. What am I doing wrong? How important is the app anyway? Thanks for the help!
  23. Hello, I just got my Msuper V2 today, but I am unable to get an app that allows me to change the settings! I have an Android Galaxy S5, and an iPhone 6. I've tried 3 apps between 2 phones. I can connect to the device with the Gotway app, but all I can do is beep it. There is a settings menu that only says to adjust settings from menu. There are NO additional buttons on this app... What am I missing? Someone mentioned in another thread the options button, or 3 dots. Where?! Screenshot coming shortly. UPDATE: SOLVED! ON NEWER ANDROID (4.4 AND ABOVE I BELIEVE) THE "OPTIONS" BUTTON WAS REMOVED. IT WAS REPLACED WITH THE "APP SWITCH" BUTTON. TO ACTIVATE THE "OPTIONS" BUTTON. LONG PRESS THE "APP SWITCH" BUTTON.
  24. I have a V3S which I'm really in to and which I use a lot. I use the iOS INMOTION app which is ok for seeing what other INMOTION users are up to with their products, but the app is somewhat lacking and has so much more potential. Until the app developers improve upon it, I have set up an equivalent group with Band. Please pop along, take a look and join if you have an INMOTION product. Visit http://band.us/n/a4a1S80dVeT2U .
