Guest PogArt Artur
I'd like toΒ share shortly the news of my first scratch π I were going first time to that store, suddenly I've noticed, thatΒ the end of the pavement isn't lowered (I know it's kind of against the UK's law) so I jumped it off on the driveway leading left to the parking area... This is where I've earned the first, mostly painful scratch πππΒ Now I know how it's happened, so I will try remember that lesson, and don't do it again. That kerb was looking a bit more raised than the common 4" kerbs, it was going left on the driveway's bend towards parking, I were going just there, so instead of jump off at a straight line, I did jump off following the kerb's curve ... This is where the bottom of the pedal did touchΒ the edge π There's always must be the first scratch, or fall off ... I think the first scratchΒ hurts much more than the others π
LanghamP
But you didn't drop the wheel? Not dropping the wheel is you winning, and it's so very easy to crash big time when a pedal gets caught on anything at all.

Thus I'm trying to watch where I'm going π€ No, not any dropping of the wheel, just short touch to the kerb's edge π© I'm commuting daily for over a month, I'm jumping off the kerbs every day, lol... So today the scratch hurts my ego, as it was something I didn't expect π Jumping off the kerbs it's kind of daily routine to me π I suspect I'm usually jumping off at straight line, where the kerbs are separating the side roads... Today I jumped off following the kerb's bend ... Kind off riding off the kerb's edge - too close to it ... I'll try to avoid that, since I know how itΒ ends Β π Β Β

Lol, I think it's a man's thing to have a fighter's scar , to be a real man , lol π There's no need to bother, it's only the first scratch, the next scratches may be earned later on, at any occasion... I just didn't like it to striking the eyes, being silver on the black background... So I have masked them with the marker π

When parked you find new scrapes as you ride in the future. It is hard to avoid if you go to the limits you EUC can take you π

I didn't like those scratches, but I knew it's theΒ learning process π After an upgrade I wasn't heading to add any scratches on the new EUC's body , lol π So this is why I feel a bit upset having today's scratch for first time , if you know I mean π The less it's visible the better I feel , lol πππ Thanks for your comment π Β

Issah
Even on my MSX I've had a few small scares as my pedals have scraped theΒ CurbΒ as I went down one. However I see those as notches on my belt, not something to be avoided at all costs.

Thanks for your share, I know these marks are usual, not to be avoid or too much worry about, but treated as the common usage marks, nothing else π I just wanted to share my first one, which isΒ very upsetting π The next will be much easier to accept for sure π Thanks π
