Genauso legalisiert wie ebikes, die man nicht auf dem Radweg benutzen kann, denn sie könnten ja über 25 oder ohne Treten? Und auf 45 beschränkt, sonst könnte ja jemand daran denken, sein Auto innerorts zu ersetzen? Also (absichtlich) nutzlos und eingeschränkt gemacht? Ich verlange ab jetzt, dass man innerorts nur mit dauerhaft auf 50 beschränkten Autos fahren darf, dasselbe für 30-Zonen und Spielstrassen. Dann muss man halt paar mal entlang der Strecke sein Auto wechseln, zwischen den 4 Varianten (außerorts, 50, 30, Schrittgeschwindigkeit). Das wäre das Analog zur ebike-Situation. Und wenn es nichtmal für Fahrräder klappt,seit Jahren, wie dann bitte für irgendwelche Nischen wie EUCs? Da wird sich nie was ändern. Von absurden Anforderungen wie Führerschein, teuren Versicherungen, Kennzeichen, Altersbeschränkungen, TÜV usw. mal ganz abgesehen. Selbst wenn es offiziell und zweifelsfrei erlaubt wäre. Wir sind hier schließlich in Deutschland.

50-55km is what you get from a 1000Wh battery unless you're 60kg and go below 25km/h. Inmotion can't do magic. They can and do lie about range in their advertising, like everyone else. 62 miles (100km), yea right. At walking speed, maybe.

Hallo! Am Anfang ärgert man sich ziemlich über die absurde Rechtsunsicherheit. Ging mir auch so. Je länger du fährst, desto mehr merkst du, dass es nur ggf. ein Problem ist, wenn dich die Polizei sieht und schnell genug anhalten kann bevor du weiter bist. Von sonstigen Leuten kam noch nie eine negative Reaktion, die freuen sich alle (bis auf eine einzige stereotypische Handtaschen-schlagende Oma die irgendwas mit "Motorrad" gerufen hat - auf einem breiten Radweg).

Some pretty spectacular background mountains! Any riding opportunities there? Nice impression of the neighborhood. I was semi-surprised that there are roundabouts in the U.S.

Just watched this and almost called WPS (Wheel Protective Services) about wheel abuse Amazing what the MCM5 can do. Have you ever checked its cabling? A small and light(ish) wheel like this seems perfect for these narrow mountain ridge routes. And a fantastic path itself, maybe not for riding, but nice route with nice views.

@eddiemoy By quality I meant compression, not how much of the original picture you see. And the noisy details are the worst offender for how it looks post-compression.

From the promo video, they were throwing or shooting it while recording in slow motion. Maybe it comes with a little crossbow one can use to lob it around Or some rugged form factor like a bouncy ball. Unrealistic, but one can dream.

Cool The field of view is adjustable, right? I'd recommend narrowing it so you're maybe 75% of the frame height instead of a small Marty in the center. Too wide makes the further landscape and surroundings disappear too much (like the opposite of a telephoto lens). Maybe that would also improve the video quality, with less fast-moving, peripheral details that are distorted anyways.

At very low battery, GW wheels will tilt back. It's not just beeps. At least that's what my ACM does.

You must be nearing 10000km on the Monster. Did you know that Eisenmann translates to iron man in German? You've got more range accumulated on your much newer Monster than I have on my ACM, so that often motivates me to get out and ride. Nice photo. Your piece of coast is quite spectacular, but I wonder how well accessible and developed the bike paths and other EUC-suitable side routes are in the area. Hoping you don't have to use the main (car) highway too often. Do you have a new drone that can make these 360 photos? I recall you said (in the latest Marty+Duf stream chat) your trusty Yuneec fell into the sea.

Nur mal so nebenbei, weil dir das Tesla zu oversized ist... falls du damit die Batterie meinst: Noch nie hat sich jemand über zuviel Reichweite beschwert. Wenn du die mal hast, möchtest du die nicht wieder rausrücken (außer du bist wirklich kein Streckenfahrer oder Langzeitfahrer). Ich hab 1300Wh, würde mit der Erfahrung NIE weniger kaufen, hab damals wegen des absurden 300€ für 300Wh Aufpreises nicht 1600 genommen, ärgere mich im Nachhinein weil es das trotzdem wert gewesen wäre, und wenn ich 3000Wh hätte, würde ich nie ein wheel mit weniger Batterie kaufen, einfach weils so goil ist Was ich damit sagen will: 16S ist schön und gut, und wenn du eins willst, hol dir eins. Aber Tesla, ACM2, V10F (letzteres scheinbar in Belgien zu ganz guten Preisen zu kriegen) gibts auch noch. Die wären auch noch etwas schneller.

@Mono hat Recht, das Gewicht ist das selbe, sind nur 2900mAh vs 3500mAh Batterien, aber die gleiche Anzahl. Gibt sich also gewichtsmäßig nix. Und ich würde sagen, 680Wh für 40km ist zu optimistisch. 680 gibt dir solide 35km Reichweite, aber viel mehr wirds nicht werden (außer du wiegst 60kg oder so). 840 dagegen locker über 40 (42-45 würde ich sagen). Meine Erfahrung, immer die größtmögliche Batterie kaufen!!! Außer du weisst definitiv dass lange fahren absolut nicht deins ist, oder Geld ist das Problem. Bedenke auch, dass 16 Zoll = stabiler = du fährst automatisch schneler = höherer Verbrauch. Nicht mit dem Ninebot zu vergleichen.

Won't need any convincing at all. Just another wheel, because I only have one. Or two more wheels for these mountains, can't take my old-cabling ACM up there too well. TO-247 mosfet wheels on the other hand... And it is a great ride, though no special route, just circling around. What you see is the picture is the Inn river valley exiting the Alps (and the decorative ranges along the valley). Because the river used to be an ice age glacier, it pushed up some moraines in some distance from the mountains with my home city in a basin (used to be a lake after the ice age) at the mouth of the valley. So there are these elevated viewing spots in basically all directions

Wonderful mellow and cool-warm, pleasantly humid weather, and fantastic lighting From tomorrow on it will get much colder. -- Short break in a forest, sun shining in. Views of the mountains along the way. Much better in reality than the limited dynamic range phone photos. Sun shining in sideways looked wonderful. Deer enclosure. Bavarian scenery. Going up a hill. Church hidden behind the tree on the right. Gorgeous view into the mountains from up there. Somehow the colors were extra nice today. Fun path through the forest, roots and everything. A bit further. The view! The colors! Just lovely Some time later. Moon was huge! Moon over the bike path along the river. The thing my ACM shines on is a pumpkin I picked up from a field along the way (there are pay boxes). The lower right light is the moon's reflection on the water.

There are 3 cases (I believe): No plastic battery housing and bad sealing --> FIRE DANGER!! No plastic battery housing and good sealing --> They say it's ok, but personally, I would not trust the seal to last forever. If the seal fails, fire! I would not want to live with that danger Plastic battery housing --> Good Ask your seller which case your 126... serial is. Maybe he will give you a battery housing if you annoy him enough.

@Nik Arsenych 1. und 2.: Falsch! Lauf Grosskopf Gutachten gibt es keine Kennzeichen- und Versicherungspflicht, da es eine Gesetzeslücke bei einrädrigen und selbstbalancierenden Fahrzeugen gibt. Ist also eher falsch, was die da behaupten. 3. Fällt damit auch weg. 4. Weiss nicht, aber über fehlenden Führerschein beschweren wenn du eine LKW-Führerschein hast, klingt etwas seltsam. Warte ab, rede nicht weiter mit der Polizei (außer um dein Geld zurück zu bekommen), und warte mal, was die Staatsanwaltschaft tut. Wenn sie irgend etwas anderes tut, als das einzustellen, dann dagegen Einspruch erheben. Hast gute Chancen dass spätestens dann nichts mehr passiert. Und hol dir dein Geld wieder! 50€ kassieren finde ich auch etwas seltsam. Wahrscheinlich, weil sie bei einem "Ausländer" damit durchkommen. Bayerische Polizei eben, haben wohl nichts Besseres zu tun
