  1. Yes, the details is beyond the scope of this post. Perhaps stay tune and i'll update the post as we move forward. Thanks for the link. It would be nice to have you as customer to perhaps test the product's quality. I'm no different than you, I hate to pay for crap and your questions are reasonable. I'm just offering an alternative to the defective sherman rims we all know to fail horribly, and as I said prior, it's about better quality and durability than what we currently have.
  2. The point is not to sell defective gear, specially not at this price, perhaps maybe look up the tensile strength of carbon fiber composite? you can probably get a better idea of what we are talking about, when it comes to failure the margins are much less than steel or aluminium. if someone can put the needed stress to crack this Rim on most roads , the rider is an absolute beast. i mean there a lot of other advantages besides strength and low weight, it's is a material with heat conductivity x 40 times less than aluminium and 10 times less than steel, saving your magnets in the long run.
  3. Any sherman owner knows that the original rims V1/V2 dent, bend and crack, Carbon Fiber does not, plus is lighter. The V1 Rim currently but will create V2 eventually, same exact magnet position as original for both. I choose the V1 because it's 9.8 lbs to start with. I have a friend here in NYC with 5 broken rims from the bad roads here.
  4. can you point me to the video time code in the timeline for : Visual prototype ! :-) I only heard Production model for testing.
  5. some seem to lack understanding that the voltage is not really important as it is for the amps/current... 126V and 1A is not the same as 126V and 60A, it relates the same for a battery at it's minimum. The battery capacity has not increased for this wheel, the chemistry and the battery chosen has no advantage to harness the 126V system. if you had a Lithium iron phosphate battery, it would make sense because it would add more current and voltage per cell than Lithium Ion batteries but this is not the case. I hope maybe this makes sense to you.
  6. Thanks, but where is your information from? I'm not talking about production release, I'm talking about the production model for them to test? it was late september from jacks conversation on evX live stream...
  7. I'm working on selling some custom made Carbon Fiber Rims for the Sherman; if your interested please let me know as I'm trying to get a production number down before launching the ecommerce site, the estimated cost is $500.00 US dollars via Paypal Only. it's a short Run so please don't hesitate to comment and it does come with warranty. I will be posting prototype pictures soon.
  8. This last video says : "Please keep in mind this unit is a prototype only!" so, no production model yet!.
  9. @fbhbI saw a blue material between the mosfet and the larger aluminum cast heat sink, can you take a close up picture of this ; I want to know if it’s blue silicone TIM or actually a proper Thermal pad of quality. @houseofjob do you see this?
  10. I would love to see the 12V current consumption of this DC-DC step down as the QC 3 and USB-C power delivery consumes a lot of amperage. Can you place a multimeter on the positive lead and plug power hungry devices? also, there’s a cheap non usb-C version without the LCD on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07MNDDTP6 The socket has a 12V 3.5/4A requirement, which is why I ask the question.
  11. but, two in parallel for 460 and 512Wh, right
  12. 20 cells in series configuration in the mten3, but nothing in parallel?
  13. so far it's just Gotway wheels, I have a firm understanding that is happens on the 24' MonsterPro. but that speaker daughterboard is on other wheels as well.
