Hi @Marty Backe,

Was wondering if you could give me a quick spot of help, tesla has just arrived and i've slapped it onto charge and i'm trying to use the app you linked on here, I have my motor code in the booklet, then i'm clicking register on the app and its asking for country code, mob no and motor number so i'm doing uk with my number and the motor code and its saying motor code wrong. Should I be doing something different?

Thanks

Paul

Are you sure that was me? I've never recommended that anyone should install the social version of the Gotway app. If you are using Android, go here and be sure to download the app that is called com.example.bluetooth.le-2.apk  No registration or motor code required.

Yep that was me being too excited and not reading the post and downloading the wrong app lol, have the right app now with no registration which is awesome, do I need to put the wheel into a pairing mode for the bluetooth? The app see's the wheel and I select it but I can't change any settings as it just says "Please connect device"

You have to press the button in the left Corner of the app!

Then you can choose your wheel....and it is connected. No Need for Special "Pairing" activities...

Yep thats what i've done, i've turned it on 1st image, selected gotway second image, then its put me at the main menu third image, so i've gone to settings and selected something 4th image, and no joy so go back to the main menu and click the top left bluetooth and get the chinese message in the last imageIMG_20171130_163156.thumb.jpg.65ad295f4ba82d240c17dbb3407f12ee.jpgScreenshot_20171130-163217.thumb.png.e7e6b2d8f73251e7e0ea948275643c85.pngScreenshot_20171130-163222.thumb.png.368839746b4c08bceac851862b560a99.pngScreenshot_20171130-163228.thumb.png.dfead23a0673ed5c3953d587691353ee.png5a2033b369011_Screenshot_20171130-163236(1).thumb.png.557b5b4f5efac4526b45803631939300.png

If you continue having problems, please try WheelLog. The only thing it does not allow you to do is calibrate the wheel. This will allow you to fully configure the Tesla and you can try and get the Gotway app to work in your leisure.

Download the WheelLog app here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pc8swvnsgkkm5ai/Forked WheelLog_17092017.apk?dl=0

Good, glad you got it working. I would still install WheelLog - you'll like it much better.

Be sure that you are using the forked version of WheelLog, the one that allows you to change the wheel settings.

Have you deleted the old Version before you try to install the fork one?

That was absolutely hilarious - thanks for filming and posting it :laughbounce2: I cracked up as you were approaching the dreaded turn. I can only imagine the words coming out of your mouth when you first stepped on it :)

I must say, you are a natural if you can ride that good after less than 2-hours.

Looks like good times ahead for you

Well where i was practicing is a junior school and i was thinking oh its 6pm no kids will be there, and then they start streaming out watching me as i'm wobbling and grabbing onto the rail oh mom look at that pointing and staring never good, then I had challenges of slopes my god i came off a couple of times because of that.

Now I think if I can work on starting which I can't do without something to grab onto i'll be semi there, but my commute is down the side of a 70mph bypass so i need to be at least 90% in control so i dont veer infront of a semi and end up as chowder!
