Popular Post Dominic Winsor
Hi all. I just updated my firmware with the experimental android APK to 1058 from 1055. I have a v1 Sherman with around 900mi riding. These are the menu items I now have available. I've numbered them here in case anyone wants to have a guess as to what they all mean! Edit: added missing screen. Edit 12 Jul: added missing bl screen, updated annotations per below suggestions, new image is lower resolution due to limits placed on the upload by forum software (was 3.13Mb, now 909kb) Edit 12 Jul, 2 — Image not uploading. Forum bug?. Have a google download for it instead. Thanks @Lefteris for image hosting. These are my best guesses so far. Please contribute! 01. Default. • Speed, distance, battery level and riding mode. 02. --SET-• Set riding mode. Toggle soft/medium/hard. 03. 1 PA. • Set pedal angle. Here I have 1º tilted back. 04. Close tilt back. • Set the pedal tilt back function. Mine is set to 36.1 mph here. 05. 173 AL • Speed alarm setting. It beeps at this speed. Mine is set to 173 mph as I don’t want this alarm. 05.5 BL. • Backlight brightness for display. Higher number = brighter. [Missed this image earlier, hence numbering] 06. Level 0 • Adjust pedal angle to your riding preference. Mine is set to 1º tilt back. 07. Sleep 0 • Shows the wheel is unlocked (SLEEP 0) or locked (SLEEP 9) 08. Imperial or metric units • Imperial (ACLE) or metric (hAEtEr) 09. Voltage • Shows voltage and offset. Mine is set to +0.3 because I measured the battery cables to be +0.3v higher with a multimeter than the wheel was reporting. Additional settings accessed via a long press —please comment if you know any of these! 10. Cn Set • 11. Cn Adv • 12. Voltage 100.1 • Actual voltage 13. 28 ‘CA • Temp in ºC (not sure where measured) 14. 31 ‘C4 • Other temp in ºC (not sure where measured) 15. 0 A • Force pushing back/forward on the pedals 16. 0 AA • Average force pushing back/forward on the pedals? 17. 111 bU • Battery balance check 18. 111 bd • Battery balance check 19. 0 ot • 20. 1 lt • 21. 0 Ht • 22. -6 A • Left/right balance of the wheel 23. 3462 t • Turn off countdown timer. Wheel turns off at 0. 24. 944 C • Counter 25. 15 FH • counter for each step the motor does on the magnets? Goes from 000 to 999 and again. Like a step counter. 26. 101 HA • binary status of all three hall sensors. You'll notice as you move the wheel forward or backward slowly, the numbers will change at a speed that corresponds to the motor rotation speed. Each digit (3 total) represents 1 hall sensor, and their status changes as the motor moves. I think this is a really neat inclusion in the menu since it lets you see how the wheel "sees" the motor's movement! 27. 1058 v • Firmware version Edited July 19, 2021 by Dominic Winsor Updated annotation based on feedback in thread so far 9
Planemo
Out of interest, did you have the negative mileage thingy? Does 1058 completely reset the mileage?

Does 1058 completely reset the mileage? It did indeed. IDK why but when I updated using the Android APK it reset everything! All mileages to 0. All my setting… alarms, tilt angle, tiltback… all factory defaults. — that is an annoyance because I like to know the total distance on a wheel but I do keep a spreadsheet of all my riding. EUC World reported a distance of -318 miles (or something like that) whilst I was riding yesterday. Be interested to see how it affects used prices for shermans with 'low miles' now

mavo
I did not have any reset of data after updating to v1058 with the app. Be sure to stay calm and patient during the whole update process and don't close the app or cut the connection. Maybe it's a bug when update process will be interrupted?
