Thanks, I bought an Inmotion V5F last week so I'm still kinda getting the hang of it but I think in a few days I ought to have pretty much got it sorted. At the moment I can ride it but struggle a bit with getting on and off - I'm trying to work at my slow speed manouvering, I can steer but my turning circle is fairly bigΒ

It seems you're doing much better than I at present, lol :)

Keep it up!

Well done you :)

I liked your MSX today, I was impressed by it's size, and the tyre...

Obviously THOSE pedals too :)

I thinkΒ it's very good wheel...Β

Sometimeο»Ώ someone posted here that they are just as grippy when wet, can you confirm that?

So i got caught in the rain the other day and yes i can confirm they are still grippy , maybe also due to your legs been locked into the wheel better 😊

One of my best purchases to change the wheels performance but not that i wasn't happy anyway it's just alot  better now 😊

Yeah, first meeting in Bradford of two EUCs riders, lol :)

It's been great to meet you to @stephenΒ  :)

What is better than single EUC rider?

Two riders! :)

We'll have very soon, the third one to join ... :)@GasmantleΒ :)

Β

Do you guys everΒ go for a ride along old disused railway lines? They are often converted into cycle paths and can make for a enjoyable couple of hours. I'm not sure where the nearest are to Bradford but there's bound to be a few.

Thanks, I'm kinda interested in exploring old railway lines and canals and it's part reason I bought my uni. There's a short disused line from Cullingworth (nr Keighley) over Hewenden viaduct that I'd like to have a go at next week - I think it's only about 3 miles but a 6 mile round trip for me will a major achievementΒ :)

I'm kinda pretty flexible but I'd need maybe 3 - 4 days more experience to feel able to keep up. I've just had a look on google maps, it's possibly only 2 miles long but I still quite fancy having a go.

That's interesting plan for sure!

One of the reasons I bought EUC was going out places for photography ...

Unfortunately I'm experiencing some disadvantages of my E+ ...

I think it's efficient for daily commute, and some quickΒ shopping in town, but it won't let me enjoy photography the way I thought...

I can't go to farther placed parks, but to the ones near by only.Β

Those parks near by I know well already, the other I were dreaming of, are out of my range.

There's a network of 1000s of miles of oldΒ railway lines that have been converted into cycle paths, most are in pleasant country areas where people walk their dogs or take a leisurely bikeΒ ride. Usually they haveΒ  picnic benches along the way for people to rest and few signs telling about local history etc

How many miles does your wheel go ? I'll take you one day

Cheers @stephen , I'm just feeling down a bit...

I've started experiencing some weak points of my E+ :)

I guess I've improved my riding skills a little bit, so I go faster at some places, where I used to go slow and carefully...

One of those places is the very sharp pavement's corner where I live.

The bend is 90 degrees, it's very narrow, and I'm forced bend the knees because of the tree's branches above my head...

Then it's inclines up...

I know this bend very well now, I go faster, especially up that hill...

The E+ doesn't like it at all, today it's second time I've experienced tilt back just when I've reached the top.

It's giving me two or three tilt backs in the row, before letting me go normally :(

I need to go slower at that incline :(

Also I've moved onto the street today, it was just more convenient to do so...

While on pavement the speed is just efficient, because of all those pavement's cracks, holes, rubbish left over, on the street it's too slow, I could feel it today...

Regarding your question @stephenΒ , I think my wheel could manage up to 11 or 12 miles of riding, before the battery gets down to 20%.

I've read somewhere that @GasmantleΒ V5F is a bit better than mine, regarding both, the range and the top speed :)

Pog,

This site has few photos of the Hewenden old railway - like I say it isn't very long but looks rather scenic and may be worth a short ride with the camera.

I'll bring my 360 camera it will be good footage over that bridge 😊
