Popular Post Denniss
Hey Ninebot, Xiaomi, Segway Mini / Mini Pro users, here is the downgrade pack for your device (Xiaomi, Ninebot, Segway Mini / Mini Pro) with an documentation how to do it. It will downgrade your device from firmware version 1.2.8 back to 1.1.7. YOU DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKED DEVICES OR THINGS THAT HAPPEN TO YOU OR YOUR DEVICES BECAUSE OF THIS DOWNGRADE! It looks like Ninebot has changed something in the App. You need the Ninebot App < 3.6. For Android you will find the old APK's here apkmonk.com/app/cn.ninebot.ninebot/#previous Please read the "NineBot Mini Downgrade Readme.pdf" insite the 9BDgrader.rar Just to be sure, that Ninebot (the company) has the right file on their server, here are the hashes from the original Mini_Driver_V1.1.7.zip MD5 Checksum: 94273806959B2BB5FD8C50F6F7323846 SHA-256 Checksum: 2A7743E35DE0136DE46FC2A2D6BA9187CB728738C6F8D7FCC022BD4CA05FED57 When you download this file from Ninebot, check if the checksums are the same. Upload the "Mini_Driver_V1.1.7.zip" here http://onlinemd5.com/ if the checksums are identical you are safe. Good Luck! --- POSADIS ISSUES: Posadis Server has to be downloaded from here: http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/posadis/posadis-0.60.6.exe After the Download, install it to C:\9BDgrader START WEBSERVER ISSUES: Please take a look at c:\9BDgrader, there is an error_log. Open the File with the Notepad. When it looks like this, there is another webserver like Xamp, Wamp, Apache or ISS running on your machine. Please disable this webserver temporally ____[09/Jun/2016:14:06:16 +0200] Failed to bind the socket, error #50. Probable reason is that another daemon is already running on the same port (80). ____ SKYPE uses Port 80 too. Please close Skype, kill the Skype process in taskmanager and try again. DOWNGRADE ISSUES WITH ANDROID: - After you change the DNS Server on your Android Device please reboot your device, then open the Ninebot App for the downgradeDOWNGRADE ISSUES WITH IOS: - Completely close the Ninebot App (kill the task) - Change the DNS Settings in IOS to your Server - Enable Flight Mode (this will wipe the DNS cache) - Disable Flight Mode Open Ninebot App, it should now see the new 1.3.0 Firmware (which is our loved 1.1.7). --- ATTENTION: IT IS NOT SAVE TO USE A PRE CONFIGURED DOWNGRADE SERVER FROM SOMEONE ELSE. THE OWNER OF THAT SERVER CAN SEND YOU ANY FIRMWARE HE WANTS. THIS CAN BRICK YOUR DEVICE. IF YOU USE SOMEONE ELSES SERVER, YOU HAVE TO TRUST HIM! INFORMATION: Some routers have an option to prevent the use of alternative DNS Servers for security reasons. You have to disable this option during the update Process in your router. List of routers: - some vodafone routers (Information will follow) Denniss aka Ninehood :-) 9BDgrader.rar You will find questions and success storys about the downgrade here: Edited June 28, 2016 by Denniss More Information and some seo
Popular Post Denniss2
If you can't setup the windows part or are to lasy, Alexander has setup a service on his public Server. Just skip the windows part in the tutorial: 2. I put all this staff at my own DNS server (portaller.com). So now downgrade can be performed easily - just change network settings to use 107.170.15.247 as DNS server, then check that http://apptest.ninebot.cn/appversion/appdownload/NinebotMini/version.json returns "CtrlVersionCode" "0130".3. Run Ninebot app on android and connect it to Ninebot. It must find new firmware.4. Firmware will be downgraded to 1.1.7, so every time when you are running app it will telling you that new firmware (1.3.0) is available. Take a look at the IOS und Android desciptions above to get things running. For me this mission is accomplished. New projects are waiting. Please help others when they have problems. I will answer to questions and will update this page from time to time. But not as often and fast as in the last days, where I spend hours of time here. Have fun with your Ninebots and don't update firmware Dennis Edited June 11, 2016 by Denniss2

Denniss2
Recheck the renaming part of the firmware zip and its contents. If you fail, give Alexanders Server a chance. And yes, try to set both dns servers. If you have a bad wifi connection, go near to your router. Edited June 12, 2016 by Denniss2

Denniss2
Check C:\9BDgrader\www\appversion\appdownload\NinebotMini\v1.3.0 is there the Mini_Driver_V1.3.0.zip file in it? Copy the Ninebot Firmware (Mini_Driver_V1.1.7.zip) to C:\9BDgrader\www\appversion\appdownload\NinebotMini\v1.3.0 (copy the zip, don’t unpack!) and rename it to Mini_Driver_V1.3.0.zip Use Winrar and open the Mini_Driver_V1.3.0.zip with it. Rename the Mini_Driver_V1.1.7.bin file to Mini_Driver_V1.3.0.bin and close winrar. Edited June 12, 2016 by Denniss2

Then I need a network trace from the update process readable with wireshark. Edited June 12, 2016 by Denniss2
