Man, that's lot of miles. Do you ride it EVERYDAY? And it never crashed? How is the tire looking? Any thread left at all?

Mostly every day. Never a single shut-off. Tire is doing fine!  V1.2.2 firmware was a good version.

Technically I probably hit 1000 awhile ago if you add miles from my other unit but my main unit just hit 1000 flawless miles.  V1.2.2 representin!!!

Awesome!  I'm currently at 1407.3 miles, to be overprecise and all.  Still running V1.2.2 and never had a failure.  Tire tread looks fine on the Kenda brand that came with.

after appx 700km ninebot one e+ & schwalbe mad mike 16x1.75 (lower tire). very agile and he fights even through deep gravel and muddy roads :D ... the funfactor of a mud catapult, snowplow or just if you want to sand you neighbours car ... priceless

the upper one is a kenda, with the even farther apart treads it felt a bit unstable going fast on a heavier 17kg KS16, although its 16x1.90 ... prbly not meant for hight speed ...

i'll miss my ninebot after ~1300km somehow ... has been a brave wheel :)

I've been wanting to get a tire like this.   You think it's not good for EUC's though?

the lower schwalbe mad mike works nice on the ninebot one. haven't had much practice with the Kenda on the KS16 but i think its to wobbly on tarmac with stronger motors, heavier wheels or at faster speeds.

some maybe better alternatives than the above Kenda:

offroad:

Kenda Mad Mike - nice for ninebot, not testet on the KS16
http://www.schwalbetires.com/bike_tires/off-road_tires/black_jack  55kg max but more thread in the middle for hopefully a bit more stability.

trouring:
http://www.schwalbetires.com/bike_tires/road_tires/marathon_420 maybe a good mixture - 70kg - 50km/h - 3mm puncture "proof"

street:
http://www.schwalbetires.com/bike_tires/road_tires/big_apple 70kg max - 25km/h - "baloon tire" 30% more dampening

they are all a bit thinner than the standard 16x2.125 ninebot tires.

55kg, 70kg and 70kg ... Could be the reason why all the EUCs are loosing tire pressure quite fast (?jumping off curbs?) - should be quite some overload for them...
