No, don’t think they can or should get rid of the handle. I go shopping with my Sherman S and I use the trolley handle a lot. I push it through my helmet when I’m going shopping so I don’t have to carry the helmet around or put it in my bag.

If they got rid of it, I would not buy it. The sherman s (and this one) type of scorpion handle takes no additional space whatsoever so you can just slap it on there. No reason not to.

I agree! I love my SS's trolley handle. The updated one is much more comfortable and rigid, though there is a little play in it after yanking it around a bunch. The fact that you can mount a seat to it makes it the most capable of a harmonious seat/trolley customization. On the Lynx, many seats must be lifted from the rear bumper to allow trolley use. That's, like, two steps, which is mathematically less convenient 🤓

I'm all honesty, though, I just find it so cool and convenient for my setup (a yoga block with the Sherman S seat accessory added on top). It makes having to walk the wheel across the street (when it's the only safe option) look cooler than it usually feels.

This wheel looks amazing! And Hershey's stock is going to the moon since the tire is made out of Chocolate 😂

@Jason McNeilThe tire in those marketing photos isn't a semi-hot melt tire that I'm aware of, is that the same one that is expected to be in the production version or a different one?

Also, can we see the high def marketing PDF photos? All the public has seen so far in there is a bunch of grainy photos from the leak.

Very cool. I guess my question is, for lynx and Patton and the SS. Is this a software update, or will it be only on new models of those eucs?

Maybe this feature will be some kinds of unified standards for EUC if it is only an updated firmware, each EUC company are able to do that.

They each fiercely guard their secret sauce. I think KingSong came first with that in S20.

Finally have permission to share...

In comparing to the Lynx & GT PRO+ what's quite remarkable is that they've managed keep the SL on strict diet, where the incremental weight difference between the Lynx is almost entirely attributable the additional 1,300Wh of battery cells. Total footprint is only 0.2" wider, while the GT PRO is 2.4" fatter & nearly 10kg heavier! Released specs have the 130kph freespin vs 125kph on the Lynx—maybe a FW update coming there too?.

One of the new innovations featured here is 'total' hall fault-tolerance, e.g. if for some reason, there's a hall sensor, wire, or localized controller fault, the Wheel will not only not cut-out, while riding, but has the ability to operate from a dead-start & come to a complete stop without loosing balance, this is apparently a first for any Wheel—it's possible this will be rolled out on other LK models later.

looks great!

i want one before i die.

any guesstimate when u will be taking deposits and realistic guesstimate of eta?

it looks like beidou's drop backplate will work, so hou ningning's 40mm forward backplate should work too.

i've got 4 great ranch wheels, and the 66lb lynx dug me out of a wonky situation off path today, but any extra immediate juice down low is always appreciated.

i don't think 30mph is possible here without a pilot's license, so top end other than headroom. not important.

i'm excited! plus my 64 year old hay guy that use to race horses is all about learning wheels. i'm gonna put him on the s18 and give him a tire and he can scrap that horrible jiluer tire.

Long Range Lynx, quite amazing! I can see this wheel replacing ex30s for the additional range and Sherman S for the extra power.

Specs sheet with higher quality :

The street tire that is shown is appears to be a "replica" of the Michelin City Grip 2. I'll probably give it a try for a bit before eventually fitting a Michelin Pilot Street 2.

How to replace EX30 with C40 motor power of 4000W ? They seem like use the same motor of Lynx(3200W) and Sherman S(3000W) for ShermanL(3200W), however, someone said the interior of the motor is different in L. I see nothing different here.

I suspect this is the same motor used since the Patton but I would be happy to be told otherwise.

What are the chances that the dual bulb headlight has a clean cutoff angle that won't blind everyone?

roughly zero. this appears to be the exact same headlight as the Lynx. And I'm very happy with that decision, personally 😊

It really does say "Chocolate tires!" I love it!

Speaking of tires, is the street tire the Michelin City Grip 2 tires, or a tire with a close tread pattern? Either way, I'm curious as to how it rides compared to the Kendall K340A (seems like that tire is being phased-out for tubeless-capable tires).

Probably an imitation of this tire...We will know how it rides once we can have access to the wheel...

It is a TNT 2306 tubless

There is nothing new in Sherman L, it has same motor and same motherboard of Lynx. I am of the opinion that L is only a version of higher battery capacity of Lynx. This is not a new wheel. The new feature of hall-sensor as mentioned above is an upgraded firmware, the feature will be realized in Lynx and Patton as well.

Do you think the GT pro plus is a new wheel? However, GT pro plus not only upgraded the battery capacity from 3000WH to 4400Wh but also upgraded the motor power from 4000W to 4500W.  On the contrary, Sherman L only upgraded the battery capacity of Lynx from 3000WH to 4000Wh, and call it a new wheel.
