dmethvin
I don't recall seeing anything about this one, it looks pretty awesome. The King Song web site seems to be down at the moment.

Gimlet
Peter Brierley made a great job of cutting the centre out of a bike wheel and fixing the motor hub into it.He's documented it with pictures on the facebook group page.
MrBump
Now it just needs a 5000W motor and a commensurate battery.
Chrisxr2
That means it is great at top speed and will handle like a pig at low speeds, impressive project all the same though. I definitely need to get myself an inclinometer app too.
Neale Gray
I have ridden the 26 inch and it is awesome. I supply Peter (the eu stig) with his components. New update coming soon (800W) and maybe there will be long range battery development in first part of 2016. Peter will post his ultimate top speed after the update but I think he will have the speed record for sure The GTS 26 (thanks Peter for leaving my Milbay brand on the 26 inch) is just a testing and demonstration unicycle and wont be available for sale . GTS 26 has great speed but doesn't turn as easy because of the gyro effect, an you definitely have to plan your breaking. I was hanging off the back pulling on the handle top stop quickly. Anyway it is a great Australian project and I will edit and post some of the video we took on the day.
Neale Gray
Hi all video of the GTS 26 inch in action as promised. Milbay Australia are leading distributors for KS. Many thanks to the KS team for allowing the use of the KS 18 as the base for this prototype proof of concept 26 inch Motouni. https://youtu.be/oevXx2FWtwc

I guess that the wheel is large enough that the tolerances aren't big enough? Do you plan on resolving this issue somehow? I'm just wondering because I don't think that that is a good sign... Neale Gray
@xamino Yes the wheel does occasionally touch the case and why Peter (the EU Stig) is doing some modifications to drop the case down and create more clearance. Please understand this project is a proof of concept and is just a prototype that I support Peter in building for promotional purposes and investigation. Peter intends to do a long distance Charity event at some time (24hr non stop). There needs to be a few other modifications before that happens. There will also be a speed run on the 26 after some more updates (currently under going1100W motor upgrade) proving it to be the fastest EU in the world. I have ridden the GTS 26 and it is already insanely fast. There are no plans to release the GTS26 to the public at this time, however if there was large interest we could consider. For now Milbay's latest release is the new GTS16 Rockstar with the innovative integrated trolley handle http://www.milbay.com.au/SBV/MB16GTS All Milbay GTS models have 680Wh battery system GTS 14 and 16 have genuine 800W motors and the GTS18 runs the new 1100W motor. Milbay Australia are dedicated to a safe introduction of high quality reliable electric unicycles into Australia, the GTS26 and our other projects are examples of Milbay Australia's long term commitment to self balancing technology in partnership with the fantastic development team at KS and our other partners to remain at the forefront of development.
