I finally got to ride on my new ones for the MSX. They reach exactly 30.0cm in length, and 3.0cm wider than the original. Made from a solid 0.5cm thick slab of aluminium.

 

Note that I flipped the left and right pedal frames to get a bit more support at the outside front corner.

Nope, I love them like no-one has ever loved their pedal extensions!

I were a size 10.5 shoe.  I measured the shoe length, 13 inches, 33 cm.  This would be my preferred minimum pedal size.  I have zero concern for scrapping issue, but if for some reason there is a scrape issue then having to ride higher would be better than a smaller pedal.  Would be great if unicycle manufacturers offered different size pedals.

The extended KS pedal project is moving ahead, the length of the new design is being extended from 20 to 25cm. We hope to be receiving the first of these in late October & will be available for $99, perhaps with a slight discount for existing Customers.

Are they going to be matt black as on your picture, or is it just the prototype?
