JumpMaster Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 Hi, I'm trying to add Ninebot support to my app WheelLog for Android. The Ninebot protocol is very different from KingSong and Gotway so I'm unable to do it blind without a wheel. The 9BMetrics app has a mode where it can replay a recorded session with a wheel which I could then use to test against. I just need to record some data from a Ninebot to get started. I work in the Liverpool Street area in London and was hoping someone may commute to that area and allow me to record the communication with their wheel? Thanks for any help, Kev
SuperSport Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I'm able to run developer software on my iPhone. Do you have an iOS recording app or something that I can record with? I'm not real familiar with all this, but I follow directions well.
JumpMaster Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 Hi @SuperSport Thanks for the offer. I'm not sure what can be achieved without having a Ninebot. I'm not even 100% sure that server mode is still present in 9BMetric. If you're around @Paco Gorina any help would be appreciated!
Jason McNeil Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 @JumpMaster I have a 9B1 that I'd be glad to lend you just down the road It's a bit of Frankenstein 9B1 without charging connector or charger. Might be enough juice in it for capturing what you need.
JumpMaster Posted August 25, 2016 Author Posted August 25, 2016 @Jason McNeil that would be really helpful! Probably just a few minutes to record some data would be enough if the 9BMetrics app works like I think it does.
