One should follow the bms voltage measurement as this is the base for balancing and overvoltage protection.

It's just bad if the two bms for the paralleled battery packs report different voltages... :(

Well I guess that would be another reason why a charger could cut off sooner than expected. At least the server charger can charge each pack individually to a full 67.2v so now you reminded me, I think I will do that (at a low amp) to all 4 packs before I try a full high amp charge through the distribution board to to rule out any imbalance problems causing the charger to cut early.
