Idk about this model but with the old ones you need at least 1 click (1/20) to get the rebound fully open (0/20 acts as closed 20/20 clicks) If it's stuck down acting like a suction cup you can try this trick to get it quickly fixed https://youtu.be/w1k7mRryN2k Edit, If you intend to do it the right way without using this trick by taking it fully apart You need to do this very carefully restraining the ends with a rag or whatever bc the pressure will be released all at once just as squeezing the trigger on a pcp air rifle ie: the air can will be ejected

Although the premium brands have more (and efficient) settings, better coating..no matter if they are $600/900 they can all fail in the first few rides Taking Fox as an example, they even issued a full recall for their $700 Float X2 not so long ago Googling for every premium brands high end most expensive shocks/forks air/coil + leaking/blown, you'll find dozens of thread out of the box/1st ride none are exempt unfortunately

I think that as a new rider you're stiff and kind of afraid of losing balance so when you press down with your toes you(your brain) unconsciously compensate by leaning slightly backwards and when you press down on your heels you compensate forwards To illustrate my point, I think you behave like this guy

Aftermarket ones obviously given the (obvious)design and that they complained about it after just a few laps on a sunny day Stock ones, depends on which ones, but to be clear I wasn't rly talking about the pedals but rather the feedback from Jack to our queries which in the end doesn't reflect reality

The deadline is the Begode event in late December so it will be released soon just be patient As soon as they reveal the wheel be sure that a new topic will be created within a minute
-
Wait a minute, I might sound harsh but this wheel would have been tested for months(?) and the feedback from Jack was something like “no problems with the grip on the pedals” “the suspension is butter smooth like no other” Then the SoCal team test the wheel for A few hours on the race track = the pedals are slippery(no rain,no mud) A few hours on trail no double black diamnd no big drop just an easy trail = Bottoming out + the teeth, which form the "essential part of the new highlighted feature" are completely destroyed? WTF

(February 2024) James Barella EUC fatality near Melbourne AU
Bizra6ot replied to Forwardnbak's topic in General Discussion
A drunkard riding aggressively without fastening his helmet on a shared bike path isn't what I'd call some errors of judgement and bad luck 23. Toxicological analysis of postmortem samples identified the presence of ethanol (alcohol) at a concentration of 0.1g/100mL. By comparison, the legal limit for driving a motor vehicle is 0.05g/100mL. 27. Having reviewed all the evidence, I find that James’ death was the result of an accident while riding a motorised unicycle in a risky fashion. Excessive speed, high alcohol consumption, being on the wrong side of the path, and wearing an improperly fastened helmet contributed to the death. -
Yes wheellog using a custom widget, if I recall correctly it was developed for him by a programmer friend, it was not included by default But he's been using it for a few years now so it might be possible that it's shared in some WL packages idk, as the app is open source and constantly updated there are dozens of versions i'll let you find out more or ask him directly for more info abt it

Did you use another app for the gps speed or is it based on euc world data too? Bc sometime it reports kph masked as mph to the app, 42kph=25ish mph so just before your tilt back get triggered Also your safety margin does not match with 40mph on your wheel at this speed you would be at the limit of the cut out or already on the ground depending on your battery % Check in Euc world in the "Wheel" settings that the “Distance sent in miles” is enabled

Does it connect through bluetooth? If so, lay it on its side and try updating the firmware (even if it's up to date, just reload it)
