They were tiny. The same size as the ones in the battery corner bumpers.
Popular Post Unventor
So it has been a little while since I posted any updates. So spring/summer finally kinda hit my region. Temps went from sub 0C at night to 5 to 9ish C daytime. The only 2 or 3 weeks later it was 5 to 12 C nighttime to above 26 C daytime. So nature went to bleak grey to multi colour green white and red everywhere. And with this a few other changes are coming. I sold my Toyota Yaris or rather signed a deal to trade it in for a Hyundai Ioniq 5 red 2022. So car is going all electric too. But it has this V2L that gives the option to give power from a 220v socket. Potential charging an EUC. And a much bigger boot, 280L Yaris vs 550ish L on the Ioniq. Making more room for the V14 and gear to bring in the car. So doing the swap next week. So passing time at the pub after work I couldn't help thinking what is more magical? Or On the ride to the pub I started out on a dug up bike lane at work. Then directed to the road as the bike lanes had been closed off And getting back on the bikelane but they used some of the soil from the digpit to make a speed bump. Like 2-3" taill and 4-5" wide. Hitting this at 40ish kmh catapluted me up in the air on my magic carpet sensation of pure fun ride of a V14. That suspension change I have done is such a great improvement for the style of rides I do vs my geared up ride weight.
Popular Post Unventor
So after a little EUC break I forced myself to it was time to get up on the "horse"/V14 again. Getting an electric car recently meant due to weather either too hot or massive Skyfall the car had to do its job. After 3 failed orders from AliExpress I finally got my set of orange side top panels. So these had to be fitted. It also presented the opportunity to fix the soft padding at the top because it had to move from old part to the new one. One of the original one had a little gap from when I had to remove pannels to change the shock. It was only cosmetic due dubble adhesive tape. I like the orange look from the pictures but when I saw it on my trip to Denmark in real life, it just got to the point I must have it. Kinda silly 🤭 But now it is done and I like it. I have nerver Benn a fan of the black stealthy look. It isn't practical and not helping to be visual as I ride mostly in traffic. Today I had strong gusting cross winds but this is where so of the V14 features show why it has grown a lot on me. I only done like 465km or 289mil. Which is the range of a full charge of my Hyundai Ioniq 5. I am not sure which I have the more fun using but they complement each other nicely. So a few pictures from today. I did a Ikea run to get some cleaning kit. Ikea runs to me is like DUFs donking donut coffee runs. It is a nice 10km ride each way. And with the bought kit on my back. And the V14 looking nice. With a nice summer view yet clouded and bit windy and just 20ish C. Yes this is not anything real technical but to me it is a relaxed cruise at 40kmh (25mph) and slowing down when meeting other a few times. It isn't crowded so not too much to worry about. So 20km at that speed takes around 20% battery. This is also my first run after doing the BMS fw update. But it seems fine to me. No problems or odd stuff. Just a nice wheel that provide nice rides even if you just cruise at modest speeds. It doesn't have to be on the limit to be good. Just one thing the stunt stock was way too hard for my 95kg ride weight. The other option I bought from Inmotion is much better suited for me. It isn't a pink soft Barbie feel. It reminds me of my Honda Civic. Kind firm yet helps me feel connected to the ground and what forces that are at play. Taking away the spike of impact, my rheumatic bad knee dislike big forces as it is practically bone to bone in the knee.
Unventor
So last stint of my summer holiday. My plan was to make a 360 video but in the process of doing some tidying up I forgot where I placed the selphystick. So this has to do for now. I posted this in another thread so this is just a link. Fairy raw footage.
