I understand that, and eScooter riders are approximately 100 times more likely to crash than bicyclists. What I'm saying is that while eScooter and bicycle crashes can be very painful, crippling even, they pale in comparison to being hit by an automobile going 30 mph+. Dead before they hit the ground. Daley1 Posted August 21, 2019 Share Posted August 21, 2019 In Australia a middle aged man fell off an e-scooter and died.It made headlines around the country for a day or two.Currently Queensland are trialing e-scooters and the wowsers were calling for them to be banned.It died off and the trial continues.It only makes news because they are new and unusual!
