Pls recommend a specific bike pump or adapter that works for the Ninebot One

I went to 2 bike shops, but they didn't have anything that fit in the little window (under the LED ring) that gives you access to the inflation valve!

Love the Ninebot One; wish it were easier to access the valve to pump up :)

I could not agree more.

Bought mine yesterday, together with this airpump. The brass extender was part of the Ninebot and I found it in the box. It worked, however, I spend about 15 min. to inflate to 50 psi.

After some research I found this video on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iEzsTdEWu4 . It is in German but pretty self explanatory. I have to look now if we do have those compressors at the local gas stations.

Hope that helps a bit.

I used a straight extender that came with my AirWheel X8 to pump up the NineBot One. [It looks just like the brass extender in Noam's picture above.] However, while I removed the LED ring, I found I was better off to use the extender not going through the little cut-out but rather right under the frame to the valve.  Removing the LED ring, however, did allow me to sight the valve and use fingers to fit the extender on the valve.  It is a pain.  But that is how I did it.

[Oh yeah, also used fingers to move the valve around a little.  Don't overdo it, but you can gently direct it where you want it to go.  Don't over stress it though I would say.]

I just bought this yesterday and it works perfect:

Small, light and portable.  Hidden inside is a flexible extender tube that fits perfectly.  Pumping up my tire took less than a minute.  It was more expensive than I wanted (45 CHF) but I can't fault it.  As a bonus I found it at the bike shop down the road, so no need to wait for shipping.

This picture from mengke's website shows exactly how I managed it, except I took the LED ring off to manage the valve.

You do need to line up before screw it on. Instead of open the LED I just use a flat head screwdriver to adjust/press down the valve.

Kind regards,

Mengke

I just saw saw speedyfeet before I saw your posts!

I was joking with you. As long as you find the right way to pump your tyre, you are on the right track. Next thing is to think how to customize Ninebot body... LOL...

Do you pump it without getting off led ring? is possible to pump tire with the Lezyne one using ruber extension than comes with pump?

Thanks

@Inmotion:  Yes, I can pump without taking off the LED ring.  The extender that comes with the pump works just like the metal extenders in the pictures above except it is flexible and you can thread it onto the tire nozzle with just your fingers.  No tools other than the pump and my hands, no removing the LED ring.  Couldn't be easier.

thank you so much EDL! I'm going to order one

I'm not improving on my trainning and I think is because of the low preassure of the wheel, I watched a video and it says ninebot one comes with 20 psi from factory and that's too low.

The one you have it is the Pressure Drive Mini ABS?
