jer
I got "tired" of the fiddle associated with pumping up the ninebot tyre. So I cut away the plastic as per photo. Has been working for quite a while with no side effects. An added advantage is that anything that gets caught in the wheel has a better chance of falling out. Don't stick your fingers in when powered up. Jer
steve454
@jer good idea, what did you use to cut it, and I guess you popped off the light ring first?

I used wire cutters for the inner and a small hacksaw for the outer. Yes the light ring comes off as does the outer plastic bit. It is not a difficult thing to do. Rehab1
@jer I like the concept! Plenty of clearance to access the valve. Thanks!
