So if you are trying to stand still on a ramp, that will require a lot of torque from the motor, hence a lot of current, therefore the board will heat up. However, keep still on a flat surface requires not. Going downhill requires no extra power neither, but it's a different story for another time. Standing there on the ground heats up the motor cables that you can't touch them. In this case MSuper V2 leaning on a wall with open side cover. So there's a pretty descent ampere on the cables. I just had this alarm too. I was on 80% battery and going downhill at about 15kmh. 45C reading from the pcb. Guessing it was the hall sensor defect. Does this sound about right?
