SciFi
When I turned on my Begode Master it exhibited the following behavior: - turns on - beeps five times - wheel won't engage, i.e. it doesn't self-right/stand-up It's as if it's stuck in its "spin-kill" mode. FWIW, it will connect to the app. Has anyone experienced this problem?
meepmeepmayer
Sounds like it is in transport mode. This exists so wheels won't accidentally turn on and spin up in the packaging. Here's how to disable the transport mode:
SciFi
This solution was one of the few things I found that sounded like it was the problem. I tried this and it didn't work. 1
Paradox
It sounds like it's in transport mode. Is it new?
SciFi
Yeah, it's not stuck in Transportation Mode. I've tried this several times and it hasn't fixed the problem. Also, it's not new. I've had it for several months now and it hasn't done this before. It worked fine yesterday morning when I turned it on and rode to work. It started doing this when I went to leave work that evening.
Cerbera
Not good news I'm afraid, if it is the same problem as this Tesla had... Looks like new mainboard time. Could anything have happened to the machine either on that journey to work, or where it was left ?
DXKI
If you frequently use the kill switch, it seems to wear on the board and eventually kills it, that might be your problem, i think its fixed with the newer firmwares. That problem killed my master and ex30, had to replace the boards

I think OP could be a different problem.
alcatraz
Kill switch problem sounds possible. If you find the header on the control board you could try to disconnect it. It might still be in some transport mode and the faulty button prevents you from exiting.

It worked good for 3-4 days, then when I've turned it on, it was beeping, not balancing and the odometer display was all messed up. I needed to revert back to an older firmware :-(
