- couple of coupons to the local brothel i guess...(ride to brothel using euc, it will wow the working staff)

- a few grams of illegal substances...(meet dealer using your euc)

- unregistered weapons in a quiet dark alleyway behind a bar...(quietly ride down alleyway with your euc, and have a backpack to carry the handguns...)

- a nice trip to somewhere a few hundred miles away (take into consideration also accommodation and transportation to and from airport)... you may not be able to board plane since you came with your euc as checkin luggage...

- gambling in any casino, but best done in vegas...i think some casinos (especially in old part of vegas) will let you bring in your euc...

- church donation (afterwards all your current and past sins absolved, except for euc purchased without your wifes consent...), and rode to the church on your euc...

- several months of bus and/or subway month passes, oh wait, you have an euc....may be not...

- go horse racing and gambling at local horse track, get to the track using your euc...

- go on a date with a fellow euc rider to some nice fancy restaurant... and check in both your eucs at the check in counter...

- purchase every conceivable euc accessory that you can for 4000$,  review each one on electricunicycleforum, and then return them for a full refund.

- sponsor a local sports team (baseball, hockey, football, etc,....)

- make a donation to a local charitable organization, and write it off in your income tax...

etc,...

Actually, ive done that last year, to my folding 26 inch bicycle....front wheel drive, 48v, with thumb throttle....ironically, i used it mainly in peddle mode, i dont use the throttle that much.  I would like to try a mid ebike one day just to see the diff... im sure it will impress me....another great idea about coverting bike from you , thnx !!!

My e-MTB has a mid-drive using the Bafang Ultra 1,000W motor, but it wasn't converted, I bought it new like that. It is actually my dearest PEV and cost quite a bit more than my Sherman S did. My Sherman S is more powerful and faster as well as having more range (although the e-MTB can have a really good range if I put enough effort into peddling). This is my bike: https://www.buzzbike.nz/shop/hpfh26x4

It is pretty good if I don't try to compare it with my EUCs or scooter. It has decent speed and power and the motor goes through the gearing so you can change the torque/speed characteristics by changing gear. With the front & rear suspension it is pretty good off-road & rough terrain. With the carrier I can put saddlebags on and carry more stuff than on my EUC. I was interested in this because it didn't have only 250W or 300W like most e-bikes sold here (to be legal they should have no more than 300W). It can make the city speed limit (50kph) on the flat, fast enough for normal riding around.

So, right now, what could I buy with $4k? If I was wanting to get rid of $4K right now I'd probably get a roof-top A/C unit for my RV. The unit and installation would be under $4k so I would have some money left over so I could fill my 100 gallon diesel tank (1994 Winnebago Vectra 34" RV) a couple of times.

kiwimark,

i use my euc primarily for commuting.  but i use my ebike for those long range trips where i have to carry  stuff in my saddlebags on my ebike.  the euc is good for light transporation and recreation but my ebike (which i peddle mainly with assist) is used for carrying alot of stuff a fair distance.  for comfort and carrying ability between ebike and euc,  its the ebike all the way.  your choice of ac for your RV is perfect - yu gotta look after your digs first...  buy a couple of pints of guiness draft with the leftover too !!! bp
