Poker Posted July 5, 2023 Share Posted July 5, 2023 Sometimes at work I use a fall harness if I'm working over 2 meters with no guardrail or similar. I was thinking about a leash for my patton when it arrives and found this thread. What you guys might be looking for is a fall damper or a fall absorber. There's quite a few ways to make them but the base principle is they will extend to avoid trauma to your body if you fall 1 meter + and your entire body is being yoinked. I had a crash with my V11 back in may doing maybe 35kmh, I came around a turn on the bike path and one bicyclist was passing another so they were using both lanes. I chose to drive into the railing instead of one of the cyclists but the V11 kept going and barely missed the cyclist behind them. One could argue it wasn't my fault but almost hurting someone else and waiting over 1 month on parts from China has me thinking a leash is a good idea Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
