Buying a board on discount

You are buying a board, like in control board or drive board, or complete wheel?

Replacing boards are much easier than replacing the inner shell.  I hope you searched youtube for relevant videos.

I have a Kingsong 18L that had several broken screw mounts.  The mounts attached the outer shell covers to the inner shell.  I used hot glue around the screw  mounts that were cracked.  These mounts are not load bearing.  They just hold the battery covers on.  I have not removed the covers since.  It has been almost two years.

No good for loads but hot glue is pretty useful for shell cracks, waterproofing seems, etc. You can remove with moderate heat (hair dryer).

Epoxy + fabric = rock solid repair. (Place small strips over the insert "L" < pattern around the insert) One side.. Other Side.. Up.. Down.. So on..

Sandpaper down area round the insert (so it "sticks" better, more scrapes the better).

Same as cracked shell repair.

Sorry, I'm coming from a onewheel so I'm used to calling the entire unit a board. I'm talking about the full wheel.
