I’ve been running the Snowtex for a few summers, and it’s holding up just fine.

By that you mean the wear isn't too bad on dry asphalt in summer? It seems most of the K66's available seem to be Snowtex (no white line printed on tread) so I was a bit worried about how quickly a snow tyre would wear out during summer months.

I can add in that a K66 tire need to be ridden to wear in/ fit right/ change feeling. Just like a new set of shoes.

As for speed wobbles it tendt to help to stand duck feet and just a tiny bit further back on the pedals from my experience with my different wheels. Also the higher pedals from ground tends to give more risk of wobbles.

Can confirm. After about 300km the tire felt just right.

Can't speak much about wobbles, as i haven't had one in last 2 years.

Sadly i can't seem to find any 80/80-14 snowtex anymore.. Just regular ones. Also snowtex costs almost 2x of regular tire. Regular 40$, Snowtex 75$.

Correct. I haven’t been keeping track on exactly when I started using mine, but I’d guess 4k km ago? The CST 1488 is totally done at 5k, and there’s barely any wear on the Snowtex. Can’t compare it to a non-Snowtex of course, but if a tire lasts around 10k, I don’t think one should worry about the durability.
