^tom^
Does anyone know how to identify the generation of my GW18. Jane Mo from GotWay will not give me a answer. She is telling me I can ask the seller. Not really what I am expecting from a company.
Shady Tools
Was it what Arbee said in the Gotway Climbing Angle Thread? MCM1 has no bluetooth MCM1.5 has bluetooth but no "comfort mode" MCM2 has "comfort mode" MCM2s can turn off level 1 and level 2 alarm in the app
^tom^
This if for the GW14 anyway: App 4.0 will quite as soon it is connected to one of my GW. I do not why, because Arbee was able to run it on both GW.

^tom^
For the GW18: I can setup the beeps on Gen.2. if it would run, but I can't run the App.
Gimlet
I couldn't run the app at first when I tried to pair with the wheels from within the app it just crashed every time on my Samsung S5. Then I paired with the wheels from the phone settings blue tooth menu. Once I had done that the pairing in the app worked fine and no crashes. John Eucist
Yes you need to pair the Bluetooth with phone settings first. THEN "connect" with the app again afterwards. Password is 1234
