Tai Mar
Hi! Never ridden ECU in my life before. Will test drive 16x tomorrow tho. I heard it's fine for beginner and actually faster to learn cuz of stability of wide tire and lower top speeds. I am not interested of super high speeds anyway since it requires wearing full motorcycle gear all the time. What really puts my off that wheel is that I also heard its not that weatherproof. I am living in North Europe and just destroyed my hub-engined electric skateboard not long time ago.
Yxzygäilijä
Buy Gotway instead. It's more reliable. Shell durability isn't so good though. But overall reliability is way better than kingsong. Just my personal opinion...
RockyTop
........... It is not a bad wheel to learn on. It is a good wheel. Most of the beginners that I have helped preferred the 18XL. .... My best advice is to stick with Kinsong and Gotway.

Even the lowest GPS speeds should show around 28mph. I had ridden for 2.5 years before reaching those speeds. KS has traditionally been a very reliable brand, but the tides have turned a bit, and in my eyes the amount of common as well as odd KS issues make it difficult to call it more reliable than GW. Generally more comfortable and with a lot more finesse, but those are not traits fit for example tools for lumber. GW is the lumberjack of wheels, while KS is the one you take when going to art expeditions. The difference is nowhere near that drastic of course, as everything you do on one you can do on the other. But the 16X is just one of the wheels that are current, it’s absolutely not the best fit for everyone. The comment by @Yxzygäilijä should have some merit, since he’s been riding the 16X.
