Tokumeino
I had a few spare oak boards after building shells. Same idea but I've preferred long screws. I didn't want protuding screws on the sides because I let the stand along a wall and I didn't want them to scratch the wall painting. In addition, I did want an horizontal board because after riding on a wet surface, I don't want that the wheel drops water on my floor (wooden so not water friendly). The oak wood has been varnished so it is easy to clean and does not suffer from water drops. Edited January 9, 2021 by Tokumeino
