  1. Selling my Kingsong 16X Electric Unicycle. Great condition with only 700 miles on it. I babied this thing. I have a replacement fender since the original broke off and bodyguard protector for it. Come with charger, seat, original box. Prefer a local Orlando, FL buyer but willing to ship in US. $1,600.
  2. So I just crashed today going 24 Mph but I was wearing almost enough safety gear. I was 17.5 miles into my ride and maybe 5 minutes from home when it happened. The wind speed had increased significantly but coming straight at me. I was in tbe middle of al 10ft wide paved path when all of a sudden the wind direction changed to a cross wind at 270 degrees. It pushed me toward the right edge of the path where a large ditch was filled with water for the resent storms. I attempted to correct by steering left, and leaning more to the left, and breaking, but I encountered speed wobbles as I was slowing down still headed for the ditch. I made the decision I was going to either dump my wheel or go into the ditch. At the last minute I almost made it to the other side of the trail toward a soft, muddy patch of grass. I landed half on, half off the trail. Then I saw the wheel come flying at my head. It hit me full force. If I wasn't wearing any gear, I would have been still lying on the trail or in the back of an ambulance. I will be changing my elbow pads to something more like my Tripple 8 knee pads and wrist guards. I may also add some kind of protection for my hips. Im left with a pretty good road rash on my right hip. Be careful riding before a storm or in changing winds. I this case, the wind shifted as I crossed from a sheltered section of the trail to a wide open field next to the path slowing the wind to change direction.

  4. People! I need some help, and would love the community's input... I was talking to @Seba about building default suggested profiles settings for different wheels with peak amperage, sustained current, etc, but the data needs to be gathered, and it seems like a ton of work. But either way, I need suggestions about how to set up my own ks16x alarms and settings, and thought it might be nice to systematise the community's settings, so people that come searchig afterwards for the ks 16x EUC world suggested settings (keywords yo) have a nice catalogue.   5. Hey guys! I'm fully leaning into selling my KS16x with 350km done. It's only a few months old and works perfectly, never had a crash or a cut out. I can provide pictures via text message on request. I can ship it interstate but buyer pays shipping. Asking $2350 before shipping with a little wiggle room for negotiation. Cheers!
  6. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Opened up box powered on and the lights come on but wont ever balance! Tried connecting to the king song app but it never finds the device. I have owned a inmotion v8 and msuper never had this problem. I'm hoping it's something I have to unlock first but nothing in instructions I can find. Please help!
  7. Anyone here replace a back light (not the LED strips) on the KS16X? The left rear light has stopped working on mine, everything else works.
  8. Hey guys; How often do you calibrate your EUC? I have an Inmotion V10 and recently upgraded to a KS16x. I rarely, if ever, had to calibrate the V10 after the initial time, I mainly did it now and then for peace of mind. The KS16x on the other hand seems to need a calibration every time I ride it, is this normal? The bluetooth patch seemed to have helped to an extend but I still find myself calibrating it alot. If I don't I get dips and tiltbacks on sharp turns (second batch 1.4board on 1.07 firmware). The behaviour returns after like a day sometimes less which is why I have to re-calibrate. I have no experience other then these two EUC's so hence I was wondering.
  9. Serious topic here... How are you practically using your EUC? How has riding changed your life for the better, could you ever go back to not owning one?! I am now ADDICTED to putting my KS16X in the backseat of my airplane. It has effortlessly solved every ground transportation problem i've ever had. I'm in love! Thanks @Jason McNeil!
  10. Ok, it's not a new idea but having launched my euc twice, thought I needed a front bumper protection. I came across these semi thick neoprene corner pads at a hardware store. It has a set of 4, cutting a piece in half is enough for a pair in front for a KS16X. I figured the adhesive won't work by itself so I used a set of 2"x4" Velcro on the pads and the front panel. It will cover the LED strips but I turned those off anyway and will add extra reflector strips at front and rear later on.
  11. I just got back from a 43km cruise with my wife and a friend. I was on my 16X. Temperature today was 7C and then 11C. Nice and sunny. Here are the stats: Rider: Mike EUC: 16X Riding weight: ~70kg Battery start and stop: 95% - 3% (66v) (also for some reason my 5A charger didn't charge the 16X all the way to 100) The first 18km took the battery down to 50% and the internal temperature according to Darknessbot was 15C and later on it was 31C. Rider: Monika EUC: MSX 84v Riding weight: ~70kg Battery start and stop: 97% - 50% (56% after resting) Rider: Petra EUC: Tesla Riding weight: ~60kg Battery start and stop 100% - 50% This is the worst range I have ever seen but also the first time we are down to single digits here! I'm gonna try again later and see if it does the same thing. I expect at least similar battery usage as the MSX. My battery was down to 60% after 18km and had dipped as low as 47%. We were riding between 30-40kmh and then we slowed down for the remainder of the cruise. Anyone else living in a cold country with a similar experience? I might need to get my 16X a fur coat if this keeps up.

  13. Finally got down to making an adaptor for my impending KS16X As I come from an escooter background, I have a large collection of fast chargers. They usually use the 3 pin GX16-3 connector. Made an adaptor to use my fast charger with the Lenovo connector. It was really rough finding this at the electronic shops in Singapore. I mated it with a voltmeter that is calibrate-able so that the output reading is as close to 84.0V Here is the reading with the 5A 72V(84v) charger attached Some of my voltmeters and adaptors. You can see the gx16-3 to gx16-4 adaptor at the back. I use that to charge my Gotway MSX. Can’t wait for the KS16X to be here!
