Igor Rz
Can anyone say that's why I have it? The sound can be heard only when I am riding on my right leg, there was no fall near anybody, I never jumped from any of the corners, which may be the reason Edited June 26, 2019 by Igor Rz
scotchtape
Yeah mine does the same thing. Apparently "normal". @mrelwood said you can try deflating the tire and reseating it.
Popular Post mrelwood
It is normal, but it can possibly be fixed. The sound reveals that the tire doesn’t rub evenly, so reseating the tire will help. If not enough, reseating the shell may help further. Empty the tire enough so you can push and pull it away from the rim. Wheel on it’s side, position a bottle upright on the floor/table so that the tire will barely touch the side of the bottle when spinned. Watch closely how the tire moves in relation to the wheel well opening. Push, pull, twist and massage the tire so that the distance to the wheel well stays the same. Watch the distance to the bottle as you spin the tire. Push and pull the tire so that the distance will be as uniform as possible. Repeat the previous wheel well test. Put two pumpfuls of air into the tire, and repeat the massaging. Repeat the last step until the tire can’t be moved by hand. Then pump up to riding pressure. If the rim has a slight wobble, you can also empty the tire completely and try to rotate the tire against the rim to find a position so that they would counteract eachothers’ wobble. If it still rubs on one side only, you can ty to reseat the shell: Check which edge of the shell is closest to the tire. (Front or back, left or right.) Remove the side covers. Loosen the large six bolts per side a bit, that attach the shell to the pedal bracket. Twist and bend the shell in relation to the tire so that the closest distance increases. (For example leaning the tire to a wall and pushing at the axle.) While pushing/twisting/bending, tighten the six screws per side. The above processes do require patience, time, and a lot of pumping, but they sure helped on my tire. Bigwheelz
I’m having the same issue and reseating the tire did nothing. My right side of tire is maybe 1/2 mm away from the case yet the left side is 2 mm. Is there a spacer missing? What can I do to re center my whole tire assembly in the case.

To hold it in place I just used an open book and slid it inbetween the wheel and shell at the tightest spot(s). Then retightened the 6x2 bolts.
alcatraz
I might need to ovalise the bolt holes in the shell a bit to get it perfect but for now it's not rubbing at least. It's really weird. The wheel is centered looking from the back but it's way off at the front. It's like one shell side is a bit banana shaped.
