I'm recovering from a concussion and knee surgery, but I'm really pining for a smaller suspension wheel from Kingsong. I have an 18XL with 3k miles on it and I love it. The T4 looks good, but it's begode and has it's own issues. Since having my big crash and getting a bad concussion, my desire to go fast, 30+ mph, has gone down a lot. I'm considering the molicel S18, but would prefer a 16" wheel for offroad purposes. Oh well, I still got at least 4 months of recovery on my knee until I can even ride again.

So I feel I can add at least a little credibility to Declan as a person. I'm from the DC area, where he is/was from. I've ridden with him many many times. He is undoubtedly one of the most skilled riders on the east coast and very knowledgeable about EUCs. I've seen him add heatsinks, make his own battery packs, DiY longboard, crazy scooter/trike inventions, and more. He is basically a mad scientist obsessed with anything that has wheels. Do I think he is perfect at all of this? No. Does he have a bit of an ego? Not really. He is quite a modest guy and I've never seen him vocally challenge anyone or call them out. He lets his riding speak for itself. Does he help our local community? Yes! He has given me tips when starting out, and when I've had to do repairs or pick out gear. All in all, I believe Declan has good character. Now, does he know what he is doing with this GodMod stuff? I can def say our DC community is full of memes and inside jokes. I think God Mod got big in part due to that. I have actual friends who have used the god mod and said there was a very small difference, but I think the inside jokes and memes have inflated this to giving a bigger promise than it can deliver. due to injuries and surgery, I have not been able to ride with the group for several months, but I think Declan may just be letting some of this get to his head or get carried away with it. I don't think he has ill intent and I think he firmly believes in his product. As for him policing the chat and banning people though, that is not cool. He has allowed some pretty gross hateful speech in the DC EUC chat and only stepped in when legit threats of physical violence were coming up often. TLDR: Declan is a smart, helpful, and humble guy. God Mod has some legitimacy, but is over hyped and the meme has pushed it into something more than it could ever be.

Definitely not biggest, I said bigger. He has a couple thousand subs and good production value, relative to other channels. But I do agree he sells his soul for discount codes and kickbacks. Super annoying to be watching his videos and have a pop up every 2 min talking about 5% off somewhere.

I've heard the same but it's one of those things where we have to trust GW, and I'm not too sure I want to trust them yet. I'll wait for someone to tear down a new batch model and confirm new parts. Waterproofing is also still a huge issue. Even if I don't ride in the rain, I'm sure to hit some puddles of water or mud when trail riding and I don't want that breaking my wheel.

Oh hey, that is my screenshot I put on Reddit! It sounds like they can change the battery pretty easily. There must be some room in the shell or something? @mrelwoodI know he is just a YouTuber, but he is one of the bigger EUC ones who does get wheels to test and review before they release. And from the comments, he states that he has it and is testing it, he just can't make any videos yet or give out any details. He said he would put out a video when he could.

What is this smart BMS you're talking about? I only know about the esk8 company, Exway, that have a smart BMS where it'll drain the battery down to 80% if not used in a week. And that is quite the niche use IMO.

During summer, I would ride my esk8 to work and back. The long\fun route was 15 miles round trip. I could also add in an 6-10 miles if I wanted to ride through some park with bike trails. I would do so much more if the battery could take it. I'll hopefully have my EUC by this summer and will end up doing tens of miles each day. I work near DC so I'll probably do a quick 7 miles to work in the morning but then 40 miles after as I loop though the city and all the trails around my place. No rush to get home in the evening.

@AtlasPI was referring to this comment by @Bomfy M I'm confident we will not get a V10f with the wheel being 100v and all the other rumors. I was just commenting on this guy's post.

I don't like the idea of just a slightly better V10f. I'm hoping IM can make a competitor to the 16X or Nikola. One that has the same range, but with the fit and finish on an InMotion wheel. Would be especially cool to see the newer things the V11 brought come into it, such as the headlight and kickstand.

I have not seriously been considering the RS19 due to the all the issues GW has had, but then I see a thread like this and I'm back to wanting it. Damn, I just wish we could get this wheel and be certain we wouldn't have problems.

I just want to say that I love your choice of pricing on this, very dank.

I know almost nothing about this region and speed locking, other than that it happens, but would it be possible to bypass it with a new control board? I'm not sure how much they cost or how easy they are to get and swap out, but curious if that would ever be an option?

I had heard the name in a Telegram chat before. Was able to find them on YouTube pretty easily, but it all seems like prototype test videos with no concrete release dates.

Whatever happened to this telegram? It says the user doesn't exist?

They really do look awesome! I may end up putting one together one day. I'm hoping more companies take the Sherman's display and expand on it to the level of EUC World, but I won't hold my breath on that.
