Those are the small black plastic parts just where the chassi ends front and back. They're used for providing a safe rest when the EUC is off and you want to lean it without having a wall handy. Mine made the aquaintance of a bus stair (back side) and a curb (front side) and are no longer with us... I'm soon going to sell the wheel, and want to pass it on without any such faults.
