Dancer
Still have to put on the griptape.
Cloud
I like it The only minus is that the bottom of your pedal is not a bit lower above the ground. Did this affect the ability to make tight turns?
Dancer
I have not tried them yet. Am still waiting for my griptape to arrive.
steve454
That is what I'm talking about!Where did you find those pieces? That is the simplest, best way to bigger pedals. Never mind the grip tape, take it for a straight line ride and let us know how it feels. Just put some glue on top and pour sand over it. Instant grip tape. EUCMania
The sharp corners and edges are dangerous as it can cut you ankle or leg during a crash.
Dancer
@EUCMania Thanks for pointing that out. I have covered the edges with pvc. @steve454 I had enough grip with my tennis shoes, so I went for a 15 km ride this morning and it felt great. The ACM is made for these bigger pedals. I cut the pieces out off an rectangular aluminium tube 200 x 20 mm @Cloud No problems in tight turns.
