dmethvin
Seem like there are a lot of these ideas floating arond now. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/modobag-world-s-first-motorized-rideable-luggage#/ Based on the specs it sounds like they have a 120Wh Li-Ion battery in there. Why put an expensive device like this in a suitcase, where you'll only use it infrequently? Better to have it be separate and store it inside the suitcase. Keith
I think it is real genius. Luggage that no airline will carry - brilliant !

Hunka Hunka Burning Love
Ever sprint across a huge airport lugging your heavy bag to make it to a connecting flight when your inbound flight is delayed arriving? Something like this would be a godsend if it's fast enough to get you there in a hurry. Gosh I had to do like a 1000 m sprint just to make it to my connecting flight home after a red eye flight in. Not fun when you're tired! $1200 is too pricey though...

You would be better off with something like a tiny motor powered Razr scooter that fit inside your regular bag when you weren't riding it. Just pull your bag along behind you. Small wheels aren't a problem in the airport since the floors are all really smooth, you don't need a big inflated tire.
