I did note on theBergMan videos that the moped/cycle traffic is physically separated from the car traffic. He also did mention he was the only one he knew in his city riding EUCs. Marty and Duf mixing it with 100km/hr F150s worries me. Every city is different. We don't have that separated traffic up north where I live and the city has 7m people. Every city has a different feel though. I've been to neighboring cities and speeds are way higher.

Scubadragonsan
Sad to hear un-necessary passing! We can't control others, but we surely can control ourselves: Law of common sense --Slow riding can give us more time to respond, fast riding will cut that time down. The faster we go, we not only won't reach our destination faster, but may reach a destination without return!
Asphalt
Additional details on the Dan Fou crash. Looks like he was forced onto the road when a car turning in front of him didn't clear the bike path as expected. As wheels get heavier and faster, they require more effort and distance to stop. Looks like Dan recently picked up a Begode ET Max, which a few riders have reported wobble crashes on when hard braking. I don't know if that was the case here. https://www.facebook.com/groups/montrealwheelers/permalink/1718496822233111/
