V12 and fire risk?

So I just got done watching wrong ways New video. How safe is the v12 as far fire goes? I know it has some new safety tech but I'm not "in the know" I belive the packs are arranged at 6p? Which means it can dra more power when needed, not stressing the battery? If understand correctly.

3 bms systems

It just means the BMS behaviors are performed using multiple PCB's, instead of all in one spot. But there's no practical difference in how it works.

The Inmotion BMS behaviors, as I understand them, are:

  1. Resistive top-balancing
  2. Cell overvoltage charge-stop (all cells are measured)
  3. Charging port overcurrent interruption (prevents charger short-circuit or charging too fast)
  4. Pack output overcurrent interruption (fuses)
  5. Cell temperature monitoring in 2 locations per side (unclear if this stops the pack output, or only the charging input)
  6. Single-pack operation (allows the EUC motor to continue operating if one pack has a fault)

It uses Cobalt-type Li-Ion cells, so a fire hazard (from overtemperature) is always present, even with advanced BMS. Cell damage from electrical abuse is prevented; but cell-internal defects, and mechanical damage, carry the same concern as they do in all modern EUC's using this type of cell.

Also the battery are sealed up in water resistant hard plastic cases, screw tight to the wheel and not flimsy blue heat-shrink wrapped packs held on by sticky tape like gotway.
