Popular Post Paulo Mesquita Posted March 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Hi guys, this is just a bit on info that might be useful to some. As some of you know I now (after less than 2 months) two wheels: The 1st is the KS 16X and now I have the V11. I had bought a pair of those Chinese Power Pads and I was planning on putting them on the 16X. But now I have two wheels. So I decided to ask the fantastic people at MyEWheel (most well known, and quite reputable European Union EUC supplier) about details on both sets of pads, since they have both for sale. Well I was a pain in the a*s, but since they have all the patience in the world and are very good responding and extremely nice professionals...the indulged me with answers to all my requests. You may ask: "why was Paulo such a pain?"...well, after googling all over the place I had never seen a photo of the two sets, side-by-side. And on top of that, ON THE NARROWER PART, THE V11 SEEMS, IN THE PHOTOS ONLINE, A BIT NARROWER THAN THE CHINESE ONE So I asked Sandra and Andrey if they could take some pics and measurements before I decided if I was going to buy ant extra Chinese pair or the V11 one. So they took the photos and some measurements, which I now share here. I've decided to go with the V11 although it has the narrower ankle pass, because I measured my leg with the gear on and it still fits. The MyEWheel staff also told me the V11 pads are a bit softer. But you can all see the differences on their attached pics. I hope this helps someone... Cheers Edited March 30, 2021 by Paulo Mesquita 5 Quote
Popular Post AtlasP Posted March 14, 2021 Popular Post Posted March 14, 2021 This is the kind of stuff that makes me so happy. Simple & clear measurements and numbers and side-by-side comparison photos. It's not that hard and only takes 10 minutes, resellers, so get it done--and not just regarding pads, but regarding any new products you're selling. Hire an intern kid for minimum wage with a cell phone camera and a tape measure if you have to. But give people the info that otherwise we always have to scrounge from blurry still frames cut from badly compressed youtube videos and one-off poorly lit photos of individual things (not side-by-side), etc. And with that info you'll earn more goodwill from your customers who will also then have more confidence to buy things quicker (instead of spending weeks researching online first and perhaps changing their mind). Major kudos especially to OP and also to the people at MyEWheel (even if they took some cajoling, at least they got there in the end). 4 Quote

I wish companies did the same with respect to power pads and if they can be mounted with the pedals closed. Information is generally lacking all around. 1 Quote

The MyEWheel guys have been nothing less than 100% supportive since day 1 of my new adventure. And have I been a pain in the a*s.... 1 Quote
