When I try to turn it on when it is standing up the correct way, it does not turn on. When I lay it down flat to the side, it turns on. Anyone please help. Thank you. If the wheel seems a bit hard to turn while it is off I'm afraid you have suffered a control board malfunction which has blown some of the MOSFETs. Your control board will have to be replaced. Hopefully you bought your Ninebot through a dealer that can offer you customer support. If not, you will have to try to contact Ninebot directly which can be a slow process. Maybe possible that your Motherboard has come loose inside the Bot? The Left and Right sensors seem to be stationery on the board itself (Cannot be calibrated using app). If the board is loose and leaning inside the bot, it would need to be leaned on it's side to sense level again. Could also be the Motherboard, or sensors on the Motherboard have died.
