Finn Bjerke
Ive read somewhere that German and Swedish bearings are of very good quality, Chinese not so much. When I get my new motor since my bearings sounds terrible is it possible (to have a car mechanic or other tech guy) dig into the motor and actually change the bearings like this Gotwya film demonstrates. Seen here: as seen here: Burn and fix? or just replace. Edited December 12, 2020 by Finn Bjerke

Finn Bjerke
Im told news about them bearings now we just need the correct dimensions for V11. I have a engineering / material science technical question. How come you haven't decided to use stainless steal bearings (excluding the apparent additional cost) ? Negative: Slightly less strength to applied forces. Positive: Much much more corrosion resistant. For example: Here are German made bearings, the data sheets, and comparison: The 6816 2RS (100Cr6 Wälzlagerstahl) (100Cr6 rolled steal) The S61816 2RS (Nirolager) (Stainless steal) https://www.kugellager-shop.net/catalogsearch/result/?cat=&q=6816+2RS Hmmm Aliexpress also (used to) have em: Are they really German made? https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001305242835.html
