Troxxor Posted October 19, 2020 Share Posted October 19, 2020 First saddle screw just broke. Now looking to reinforce them. I've seen several solutions but I'm not sure what the best is. I'd appreciate any suggestions, if something is working well for you please let me know. Also do we have any confirmation if the saddle will eventually be replaced by inmotion? Popular Post gon2fast Posted October 21, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted October 21, 2020 I have been riding without screws in the upper section of each saddle for several weeks without issue ( the wheel even took a tumble and had no issue with the top sections being free). I have found no change in performance and feel that the trolley handle functions better without the tension up top. It is also nice not having to partially disassemble the wheel to access the upper shock valves. I also leave them free as it is much easier to get back to the top shock fills that way. I have beat up my machine pretty good so far and still only the one that was broken from the factory has broken. I got a warranty repair for the broken bracket (broken out of box from factory) but they just sent flimsy little plastic brackets. Not worth using as reinforcements imo.
