Popular Post Seba
Hi! I have just returned from my great expedition, during which I rode 2051 kilometers (1274 miles) in just 15 days on my King Song KS-18XL. The shortest daily distance was 115 km (71 mi), the longest was 166 km (103 mi). The expedition was conducted along the longest, Polish bicycle route "Green Velo". Despite heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and floods that occurred on the route of the first days of the expedition, the KS-18XL was perfectly able to cope with. Damn - maybe it's not the most modern wheel, but it is still one of the best and reliable wheels for long distance riding. Rain quickly soaked my best, waterproof clothing and shoes. The wheel, despite a whole day of driving in heavy rain, worked reliably all the time. During all my rides I was charging my wheel with quick, regulated charger. For overnight charging I used currents below 3 A, but when charging during a stops I used 9 A, utilizing both charging ports. Every day was recorded on EUC World, this include detailed route, telemetry data and photos: Opoczno – Kielce, 115 km Kielce – Sandomierz, 126 km Sandomierz – Łańcut, 148 km Łańcut – Krasiczyn, 151 km Krasiczyn – Narol, 133 km Narol – Chełm, 166 km Chełm – Terespol, 147 km Terespol – Dubicze Cerkiewne, 148 km Dubicze Cerkiewne – Supraśl, 128 km Supraśl – Goniądz, 131 km Goniądz – Stary Folwark, 127 km Stary Folwark – Gołdap, 119 km Gołdap – Galiny, 140 km Galiny – Frombork, 125 km Frombork – Gdańsk, 147 km There is also a blog post about this expedition here - https://najednymkole.pl/2051-km-w-15-dni-przejechalem-green-velo-na-elektrycznym-monocyklu/ - while it's in Polish, you can use translation feayure of your browser (or Google Translate) to get it in your language.
UniVehje
Congrats on making it through! How did your feet cope? What did you do to relieve the pressure? I’m extremely happy KingSong came up with the update that allows changing the pedal angle easily. I’m using that feature to move the pressure point slightly day to day and it helps a lot.

During a ride, on each break I put my shoes off to let my feet dry on sun (where available ). In the middle of my expedition I had a one day off. I prepared a hot, herbal bath composited of stock from following herbs : Quercus cortex Salviae folium Calendula flos Hyperici herba Matricariae flos In such a bath I soaked my feet for half an hour, then I added salt and wet my feet for another half an hour. Finally, I allowed them to dry out and rubbed them with a greasy cream. The next day was much better! 25 minutes ago, UniVehje said: I’m extremely happy KingSong came up with the update that allows changing the pedal angle easily. Yes, that's great feature for long rides, especially on hilly roads.
