Mortal Coil
Winter is coming and I'll be finding myself commuting in the dark in a few months, So I was trawling through AliExpress looking for a headlight to mount to my helmet and a tail light to mount on my backpack. Then I came across these... Laser projectors. They mount under the wing mirrors of a car. I'm thinking maybe I can mount these on the undersides of my pedals and have warning lines projected onto the road on either side of me...
ARetardedPillow
I used to have them mounted behind the heel of my msx, but after a tiny crash they broke off. You can tap into the 5v rail going to the usb to power the lights Edited February 21, 2020 by ARetardedPillow
Delmeekc
I did this, once the weaver rail is mounted it's easy and just getting the angle and the right amount of brightness and temp setup on the torch.
null
Looks really interesting in theory but the ones I’ve seen on kick scooters weren't so bright. Promising anyhow.
Alexander Deforest
I just did this to mine. Love it! It looks pretty bright and I haven't even taken it into the dark yet.
