techyiam
Tire profile is the basic concept. Perhaps "effective tire profile" would be more telling. Firstly, for a given tire, the inflated profile depends on rim width. Then there is distortion due to load and tire pressure. Probably side wall stiffness may come into play as well when under load. Also, I think we need to keep in mind that motorcycles usually weighs more than the rider, unlike an euc or bicycle. This is an important difference. (usually anyways, the exception being euc girl. When she rides the Monster Pro, she may tell us a different story than someone who is 250 lbs.) Edited April 24, 2022 by techyiam

Ah, sorry, I thought you meant the lean angle of the wheel itself, not the rider. Wider tires indeed require the rider to lean more to the side while the wheel itself tilts less.
