The only strong rule I have is that EUCs with a paint job are not good, because the paint will come off pretty quickly as you scuff and bang them up. esaj Posted September 24, 2015 Share Posted September 24, 2015 I plan on building a custom case over the winter, but the materials will be something different... First with epoxy-laminated glass-fibre for testing purposes, then final pieces with uv-resistant epoxy-resin, carbon fibre and carbon-/aramid-fibre (with maybe glass-fiber to give more thickness inside). Aramid-fibre is more commonly known as "kevlar", although in reality, Kevlar is a trademark for DuPont's aramid-fibre. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
