Tatertot
I'll be in Vegas for a week! I'm visiting from AZ and I've brought my 9b1 e+ with me. My original plan was to go check out the strip at night with it, but I read somewhere that they are banned. I'll probably still do it-- hasn't stopped me before :P. I was wondering if anyone who lives in Vegas could show me a few good places to ride around or if any one would like to join me in wreaking havoc along the strip. I'm a fairly experienced rider. Can ride backwards in very crowded areas and hop curbs by grabbing the handle of my bot and jumping with it :-). I'd be happy to help if you've got an aptitude to learn, or if you'd like to just hang out and ride I'd be happy to do the same! Taite
who_the
Strip is nice but sidewalks can get super crowded. Las Vegas Blvd is all taxis, drunks and tourists, be careful if you chance it at all. Take Koval or Frank Sinatra/Industrial to get around safely from casino to casino. Distances are large, not sure if your Ninebot has the range, but for a nice quiet ride head out Alta to Summerlin and Red Rock. Stop at Blueberry Hill to recharge your batteries and grab a huge meal. Czestnut
I was there in March, and unfortunately couldn't take my wheel with me due to the flight ban. It's all those kids' hoverboards' fault!
Tatertot
I rode down Alta street today right before the monsoon swooped over that area. For other euc users visiting Vegas, I do not recommend riding down this street unless it is in the more western part of town (Summerlin area). After riding around town for a bit, the northwest/western side of town seems to be the safest place to ride. Alta & Decatur streets (area where blueberry hill is) have the highest rate of stabbings and gun crimes (prolly 'cause of all the crack houses). Ride safe if you're by that area! Summerlin and red rock area seemed quiet and safe, thank you who_the for pointing me in that direction. blueberry hill did hand out a fat meal. Their French toast doesn't compare to the ihop in my hometown, though ;)!
Hunka Hunka Burning Love
Hey you gonna check out the Gold & Silver Pawn shop, home of "Pawn Stars?" Maybe see what they will give you for your Ninebot, and maybe get a chance to be on TV! Maybe see if Chumlee can ride it.... He seems a bit messed up though in life... http://news3lv.com/news/local/exclusive-chumlee-talks-charity
