EUCMania
My NB1 inner tube started leaking after 400 miles. After I opened up the tire to fix the inner tube. I found the reason for the leak: Sand gets in through the hole on the rim where the pump valve tube goes through. The hole is not covered as on a bike rim. The mud/sand can get in if you ride through mud. After I fixed the tire and pumped it, I put some caulking chord called Mortite used to seal window or door gaps around the hole to seal it. You can take it off when you want. You can find Mortite in Home Depot for example. I rode NB1 for two days after this fixing. The caulking chord is still on. Skara
Worth cross-posting to the 9b1 section, imho.
Rehab1
Definitely going to apply it tomorrow as we use the same stuff at work during vacuum forming to seal leaks.
