106 KPH (60+MPH) Set by Elunipyscho

No one ever gets up to 200 kmph standing on a one-wheeled self-balancing vehicle. The wind resistance and turbulence will be so great that the instability it causes will make it impossible for such a vehicle to do what it is designed to do, keep you balanced.
You can't compare riding an EUC to skiing almost vertically down a mountain, or riding extremely fast on a motorcycle, precisely because neither of these activities require the vehicle to keep you balanced. The whole essence of this is that the control of the wheel / balance will never, ever, at the same time be able to compensate for extreme variations in weight distribution while accelerating or deaccelerating to keep you in balance all the while you ride at +180 kmph.
And if setting a speed record while riding behind a windshield pulled in front by another vehicle is something, then there is only one thing to say: it is a ridiculous and dishonests way to set a record, and has nothing to do with a real speed record. Moreover; At wind speeds of around 180 kmph, the wind resistance is large enough to "fly" - think about that when you imagine riding standing on a wheel at that speed. It is never going to happen. Sorry.

Hey! Stop being (ME) - the Debby Downer.. Let people dream big! If they wanna go 200km/h - Let them!

You don't even need to "balance" the wheel. At those speed the gyro effect will be so strong, that you could do a hand stand and wheel will not fall over to it's side. :D

Ofc you can't compare EUC to some planks fastened to your feet. One has an engine.. Duh! With enough speed you could even ride upside down. You could not do that with some planks fastened onto your feet.

Good thing highways have enough free wind shield all around you - the cars.. Simply choose one and follow it like a crazy dog chasing euc.

Also good thing that most wheels that will go 200km/h speeds, will be heavy enough that you don't need to worry about "flying" away.. Also most people who will go those speeds will be heavier side by default - again no need to worry about lightness and chance of flying away. Second thought - it would be a plus if you think about it. You could fly now, no need for roads and measly things like that. As saying goes reach for the skies!

But what if there is a strong tailwind?

This is why the new Commander Pro GT has a spoiler on the back to stop this from happening  by creating downforce.

I'm joking of course!
