Phonoman
I love that they're trying to play these goofy ass, loud ass (last time I saw a video of these kinds of shoes) as something cool and fashionable. Also, 1.4k. Jesus Christ. I'll take an A2, thanks. Edited August 30, 2023 by Phonoman

Bob Eisenman
Different manufacturers and different implementations such as electric inline as well as e shoes. Atmos gear inline (600 euro?)(backpack battery for longer range. https://www.atmosgear.com/store/p/platines Escend blades $969 (fixed boot and shoe adapt. https://www.escendblades.com/ Review of 4 brands of electric shoes as low as $500 Air trick ($500) https://www.airtrick.top/shop The electric inline Escend looks fun and fast but faceplant comes to mind. I have about 18,000 miles on EUCs, 1 month of e-bike riding resulting in a vehicle collision and foot surgery that leaves me able to walk slowly with (and without) an orthotic. The e bike is wrecked and the monster has a snapped foot pedal from the ride before I got the e bike. My old Ninebot goes about two miles on a charge these days https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hofHxSviMY97BKG-dB-y0GAxFnopaS5B/view?usp=drivesdk I found the $1499 pricetag too high but the concept of assisted walking, even on uneven surfaces, to be fun to contemplate.
bpong
Bob, When you state the situation you're in, then yes, perhaps those devices may be of use to you.

It would be far less expensive to just rebuild the E+ battery pack with compatible cells (est. <$100) or buy some new pedals for the monster. Still amazing that the old E+ still keeps on ticking. Still amazing that the old E+ still keeps on ticking. Actually I have an extra pedal for the Monster. When it snapped I tried to tap out the rod which was corroded in place. The rod bent and is still stuck in the pedal arm. I could try a gear puller on the unbent side to start rod movement. ...Ninebot on/off switch not cleanly responsive but works stuck on to stuck off with multiple presses. Recharger cable/connector has seen better days but is held in working geometric position with zip ties and inserts into to euc' plug acceptor. Looking on the Internet finds a new rod for $5 https://www.euco.us/collections/gotway-monster-parts-online-listing/products/monster-pedal-rod As for the Ninebot One E+, Yandex searching find a webpage in Russian. Translated to English it describes a pre order for the battery pack. https://ninebot.ru/catalog/akkumulyator-dlya-ninebot-one-e-240wh-1002200200 Speedyfeet says the Ninebot One E+ is swapable into the Ninebot C https://www.speedyfeet.co.uk/en-se/blogs/help-and-advice/ninebot-one-e-battery-in-a-c "NINEBOT ONE E+ BATTERY IN A C+ NINEBOT ONE C & BATTERY SWAPS The answer to this question we get asked a lot is YES! The original Ninebot ONE C can accept the latest Ninebot ONE E+ Battery and also the P Battery which is larger at 340wh. To be clear, the batteries can be interchanged between models except for the ONE P, where it needs the 340wh battery." AliExpress carries the 'C' battery https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2251832352695145.html?src=google&src=google&albch=shopping&acnt=708-803-3821&slnk=&plac=&mtctp=&albbt=Google_7_shopping&albagn=888888&isSmbAutoCall=false&needSmbHouyi=false&albcp=20123152476&albag=&trgt=&crea=en2251832352695145&netw=x&device=m&albpg=&albpd=en2251832352695145&gclid=Cj0KCQjwgNanBhDUARIsAAeIcAtN9clN5cbPhyHr9iQmt7IKDjqKfCfCvQY18f0-AzOc11_p4ASjQv8aAu4NEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds&aff_fcid=4b7c9754a32e465783cd12a3d7a94aa3-1693887120939-01358-UneMJZVf&aff_fsk=UneMJZVf&aff_platform=aaf&sk=UneMJZVf&aff_trace_key=4b7c9754a32e465783cd12a3d7a94aa3-1693887120939-01358-UneMJZVf&terminal_id=49a897156d8145b9a4323f34e478c41f&afSmartRedirect=y&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa After foot surgery I had to move to a lower floor apartment (condition of building sale on the premise of remodeling my apt). All organization of my stuff was lost to boxes stacked on plastic racks in the smaller new apartment. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lyXdCZ7R2vgl4lCDRhna5UjdIX8t9nsI/view Edited September 5, 2023 by Bob Eisenman
litewave
I purchased two SpeedyFeet Ninebot One P batteries (340wh) three years ago and had TWO cut-outs, one on each one leading to a shoulder injury. I wasted over $200 and haven't used them since. So, I would be sceptical of speedyfeet batteries based on my personal experience.

What fun Plus I had the wheel lying horizontally on my workbench for the job and when I put the wheel upright again about two cups of dirt that had accumulated in the wheel well and had been shaken loose by the tapping poured out and dispersed all over my workbench and the floor.
