Akhyneuf01
Hi guys, I commute on my wheel daily, and I had a recent crash where I failed to control a wobble during an emergency breaking. While I barely have a scratch, my V11 kept rolling on its own until it met with a sidewalk and performed a quite impressive front flip. There has been a decent bit of damage as a result, a side panel got knocked out, the trolley handle doesn't lock anymore, and one of the round covers around the wheel has lost some chunks. Since then I have not been able to get it to start up. I can bring it to life when plugging it up, and run diagnostics that all come out fine. When I try to start it up, all I can get is a single chime, and it turns off and becomes unresponsive until I plug it back into the charger. In addition, I can feel some steady resistance when pushing the wheel around while turned off. Anyone here able to direct me towards what is the likely culprit and what kind of work I'm looking at to fix the issue by any chance? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 1

That's a sign of fried mosfets shortened g the motor. The resistance should get stronger the faster one tries to push it. This needs a new driver board. One can try to disconnect the motor wires before - if the motor turns free again the boards mosfet are the culprit.
Akhyneuf01
Ah, I see. I'll replace those and see how it goes. Thanks a lot!
meepmeepmayer
Locked motor = your board fried (shorting the motor, which locks it) and you need a new board. Your seller will surely help you with this.
