My apologies if someone has already done a poll on this but,...

I often ride four different wheels in a normal weekday -- S-18 for commuting to work, 14D for noodling around downtown during the day, 16S for daily trick practice, EX for group rides in the evening.

It occurred to me that this is probably unusual, a high percentage of us likely ride just one wheel most days, even if we have a few different wheels to choose from.

So I thought this might be an interesting poll question.

I have 3 at the moment but I usually ride just one of them — the RS, which seems to work as a do it all wheel for me, although its terrible trolley isn’t great for groceries.

Btw there is a somewhat related thread you might be interested in:

As a small guy, the amount of rider input needed to control larger diameter wheels is for me a safety issue.

I ride my 18in when I need to travel a long distance but the safety margins need to be larger. This creates anxiety.

When I just want to go a few km I always take my 16in and my anxiety level is MUCH lower. This thing stops on a dime, and can still reach the speeds of the larger wheel.

The comfort is lower so after 10km you'll want the wider tire, and if the roads aren't smooth you'll want the larger diameter to not go as deep into everything. However, there's an axiety price to pay for it.

I can attest that the durability of 14d and 16s are fantastic. We use and abuse them fairly severely in our advanced riding (trick) sessions and only rarely do they fail.
